Apple iPhone 4 review: Love it or hate it

I want to give my regards to gsmarena.com team.
This is a very hones and exact review.
I'm not an Apple fan and I'll wait for N8 to land on the market, but for be honest - iPhone 4 is maybe the best marketing product. Not the best smart phone, but as a product - yes.
Thanks again to the team - great job!

YES you bought the phone because its "cool" to have an iphone
The Apple logo is a mark, every one who is rich enough to buy an iphone, gets a free apple logo mark... (because i heard that only rich people can buy iphone, we the poors can stay with NOKIA, SAMSUNG or any other brand.... whyyyy GOOOOOD why did u punished me :))))))) ) stupid apple users.
In fact Steve is real clever, sell a cheap product at the maximum price possible, every1 jumps and buys it and then Steve recommends that u MUST buy a crappy rubber case for only 29.99$ which in fact it feels so cheap in the hand that it worths only 3$, way to go Steve.
p.s. not buying the case makes the phone unusable... its like buying a car w/o a steering weel...
if steve has managed to pre-order 1.7m iphone in 3 days .. GOOD JOB Mr.Jobs.
it means at least 1.7m stupid people are among us.

I must hand it to gsmarena, that was an excellent review. Not too biased against or in favor of the phone. I'm still deciding between the iPhone 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S.

The review clearly stated that the reception of the iphone4 is much better than the 3gs. The issue only occurs when you grip that small aread of the phone, but is a non issue when you get a case for it.

So I do not know why the negative implication on your comment. Do you want proof that the iphone is actually a great device? It sold 1.7 million units in 3 days :)

You seem to imply that no one should buy the iphone. And why do you think that way? It's because you are jealous that the device of your choice is not as successful as the iphone. I bought the iphone not because Steve or anyone told me to buy it. People bought it because it's simply the best choice for us.
The iphone is very capable both on paper and in reality. It even bested other camera phones with higher megapixels, so how can you say that it's only good in paper? You are being dumb in making assumptions that people buy the iphone just because of the Apple logo. And what's so special about the Apple logo anyway? Are you accepting that the Apple logo means high quality and very good reputation? Because that's usually the reason why people would buy a product for the name. So by saying that we only buy the iphone because of the Apple logo, you're pretty much saying that Apple is indeed a great company with great devices :)

Nice review guys.
Opinion: No point in purchasing the iphone when its plagued with defects and short-comings. Its gonna be incredibly uncool having to fight for a decent reception signal during a call yourself or when your girlfriend is using it.

Kudos GSMARENA... I like iphone but its not the best...
I like Galaxy S over iphone bcoz it doesn't put stupid restrictions over the user...

Acceptable review.
I like the fact that they emphasized that the iphone can actually make calls and that it actually has better reception than the 3gs, and the mention of the bumper case pretty much solving the reception issue.
I am very happy with my iphone4. It's an awesome phone. But it's popularity and succes has made it an object of harsh criticism and scrutiny. It has set such a high standard for itself that it left itself so little room for flaws that haters and the media has blown out of proportions to get attention. Flaws that are otherwise trivial in other devices.
Nevertheless, iphone users will definitely enjoy their iphones and will find this a very useful device. For the first time, I can actually leave my digital camera at home. Never did I thought of the iphone to excel so well in that department. It is proof that megapixels aren't all that.
My iphone is not w/out issues. I have a yellow tint streak on my screen, that goes away and comes back. But Apple already set up an appointment for me to have it replaced at an Apple Store as soon as there's one available for me. Other than that, I am very happy of my iphone4 :)

oh gsmarena,please don't compare iphone 4 with samsung galaxy s,google nexus one,htc desire,nokia n8...it'll make iphone look useless...i'm one of those millions who are less impress with all the generations of the iphone...i still prefer a high end smartphone than a average ordinary phone like an iphone..to most people if a phone is good doesn't matter how much it is as it's worth the money...i've own many phones and they are either as expensive as the iphone or even more expensive..and all of them are worth the price=)

From GSM Arena review: You can't make a phone that everyone loves and Apple is not even trying. Much like any other iPhone so far, the iPhone 4 is a phone that everybody loves AND hates.
I don't hates the iPhone. iPhone is GREAT!!! but I hate the claim it makes as the GOD phone. It's great, have some pro and cons, but is not the best!
