HVGA on ~3.7, Lower PPI, weaker battery, no Gorilla glass and still no HD video and this supposed to be the PLUS version???
Samsung really dropped the ball on this one. The smartphones companies must think the consumers are idiots if they release (almost) the same or inferior spec'ed phones for the same price segment (the defy+ is another example)

1ghz with a adreno 200gpu w/o 720p hd recording.they have gone wrong.
it should be 1ghz with adreno 205gpu and hd video recording with divx xvid video support

it will be appreciated by non tech people because they dont know the screen resolution thing, gpu and how important is the battery life to android phones.. all they can see is the faster processor, larger screen, the style, the design and the looks.. :D

Original Ace can support 30fps 640x480 video recording after update.

I am a Galaxy ace (gingerbread 2.3.4 stock rom )user.
What appaled me about this upgrade is the battry life. My 1350mah can hardly last till the evening,and here the increased the cpu speed & screen size,while reducing battery capacity ! They just friggin reduced the stamina of an already crippled phone!We galaxy ace users will never buy this phone. Why spend money to bring back those dreaded battry drain out nightmares?
The video rec is similar to old Galaxy ace after upgrad to gingerbread,so no hurray in this dept. Increased internal storage,Adreno 205 gpu and Flash support is the only worthwhile highlight. HVGA resolution on bigger screen is an epic fail move...cmon we have 3.3"screen at WVGA these days!!
SAMSUNG,if u wanna replace an old phone,do it like Motorola Defy Plus. THAT was a good upgrade!
