Does anyone know how to reset this device back to Factory setting... I have lost my password and the gmail account that was used initially.

This is going to be my next tablet! I do a lot of digital illustrations and having the ability to use a digital pen on a tablet is something i've longed for. I just hope it stays below the $500 mark.

Does this Note have a facility to change battery as its predecessor had..? I mean does this tablet-smartphone has any provision of a user-replaceable battery or not.. Just as Note had.

Wonder if we could start seeing floating widgets, used in the same way as those mini-apps, but with the advantage of beeing standard objekts, that does not require special programming for every manufactor.
Well, the tablet seems really nice... but I dont want a solo 30 pin connector. It might be good for charging (but then again so could a two or 3 pin solution), but for the rest I want standard jacks on a tablet. HDMI and USB... I'd even choose a tablet that has a bump on it to cope with the thickness of those ports, just to get standard things (and if these is a bump, it could be used for better camera, and perhaps an assisting bass speaker, or if there are two bumps one at each of the two upper corners, just fitting better speakers could be an idea... and with those bumps, you would get a small tilt when laying flat at a table, not a bad thing either).

The Note 10.1 is getting a hardware upgrade. It would probably launch in June with quad core Exynos 4412.

Samsung is good only for their super AMOLED screens. If they are not offering that on their tablets, then forget it, just go buy an ipad.
Samsung software/support sux BIG TIME. They are a cheap h/w co. thats all.

RvCuarto: I recommend you thoroughly research windows mobile... you may find a lot of windows desktop features are missing!!!

yup.. the only time pen n paper has any chance of going extinct, is when displays are as thin, can be folded up and shoved in a back pocket, then forgotten and put through hot wash & spincycle & STILL be usable....:-)

i want to buy a pad that will mostly do all my windows desktop needs .. Ill rather wait for Nokia Tablet running windows 8 with a good camera on it, probably with pureview technology. that will be a great tablet!

I will buy the first tablet with amoled plus screen (should be arnd 10 inches)
Samsung has released the 7.7 inch model. I am waiting for the 10.1 inch model.

I would never waste my money on an Apple product. However until Samsung does not install at least 5-8 MP camera on its pads I will not buy a Samsung pad either.

I had a little trouble reading your web page - print very small, however, overall I have no need for yet another gadget. It does not offer me anything I really need apart from the web, which sometimes I rather not go to all the time. And that is the issue. The tablets are all very pretty but are not the quantum leap forward in technology over and above a netbook. Sure great fun to show pictures, access the net, check email, videos, games, but so what. Can do that with a netbook. Where is the real gain and difference. The question is do you want it, or need it. If you dont need it, then why buy yet another gadget. This is where tablets must go to take over netbooks and pc's
