Dean, 27 May 2012the only thing that stands between me and the S3 is my S2. ... moreFor me the extremly bad S2 sound quality is the biggest reason to upgrade to S3! S3 with the Wolfson DAC and the Voodoo Sound drivers by Supercurio have perfect sound quality!
S2 is good, but the sound quality is so very bad that all the good things can not compensate for the very bad sound quality!

Tolitski, 27 May 2012Sir, I just want to ask if there is a GPS on the phone a... moreTechnically yes the GPS works without WIFI; however you still need a local map of sufficient size already downloaded into the phone so that the GPS can show you where you are = otherwise it can't work. And in order to have a map you need to have WIFI or GSM intially to to download one. Google maps now allows you to download & cache maps upfront so that you don't need WIFI/GSM as you go.

                    Sir,

I just want to ask if there is a GPS on the phone and not dependent on the signal of the phone as GSM or wifi. I mean is even if there's no signal or wifi still the GPS will work. Thanks.

No, you don't need to have 4 cores, 3 cores.. or 54 cores cpu to hack CIA, you need BRAIN!! it's nothing about the CIA, what's your point with the CIA or the Oracle? lolz.

So you can't imagine applications that need to waste cpus + graphics? Oh man.., should I give you an example??

the only thing that stands between me and the S3 is my S2.
Honestly, S2 is so good that each time I propose the idea of upgrading (to newer 2012 line) to myself I always ended up rejecting it. What S2 can offer you; although subjective, beats most of the current edition of phone.
S3 is great, but right now I'm looking for something new, new innovation, like the one that got me into upgrading from S1 to S2 last year.

P/S: I miss the pause feature while recording videos, that is really useful for me at times. Its weird companies are dropping nice features like that and cramming useless features instead.

I forgot to mention earlier that I have a Galaxy S and will actually be sorry to not have to look at it's pretty little face everyday when my GS3 arrives in a few days time.Even though it seems that there's still quite a few people upgrading from GS1 to GS3 without owning a GS2 in between,if you want to see the two side by side then how about finding the GS1 against GS2 test they did a year or so ago and have this one and that one open in different tabs and then go backwards and forwards between the two?
Oh and one final word to those who think they can judge a product without ever having owned one from internet rumours,my GS1 really does not lag and I'd be happy to put up a video link to prove this.
