4S blows all this quadcore's camera Out of the water. And wait for iPhone5. That's sure to be dual core only but this quadcores phone will ear dust for sure. :)

Well i always support GSMarenas reviews cause they are the most trustfull out there! But there are some things missing in this review: build quality and software updates!htc one x got an update for fixing the 24fps section! and meizu mx4 as separate unit it had lens issue! Also LG rolled out an update for the autofocus problem...O.K this review is excellent for the tested parts but not overall perfect...this is my opinion of course it doen't mean everyone has the same! as far as the phones, i personally choose the htc one x for it's screen, beats audio, better off light camera, Sense UI and build quality! Keep it up GSMarena!always better every time

Yeah..good review from u guys GSMARENA, but u really ignored about build quality which includes phone design...it's the very first impression before we thoroughly check the overall specs...those four smartphones have their strength respectively, but for me, I would go for Samsung Galaxy S3..:)

I wonder if GSMArena did this on the phones' latest firmware or not... One X has been updated many times n get better n it seems that they r still using the old results. Inaccurate i would say

You talk about best phone yet nothing about it being a phone. It is all to do with camera, video, and gaming. Audio yep, and little about the screens. Well so what. 95% of people will never know the difference. And everyone comments on which is best based on things which mostly are not relevant to the average user. For your typical everyday experience you will never really know the difference. The issue is that hardware is well capable of supporting far better software and it is getting boring repeating benchmarks that have no real impact in the real world. That is the current challenge to software developers, and this article highlights this fact.

What? GS3 is not the best in the CPU department Maizu is(then what it is good for!!)! well if they are all neck to neck pretty much in performance, i think its wise to go for the best looking one with good built quality. So i am left with One x & Optimus 4X HD. I think i'll go for the HTC as its UI is better than all four of them.

yea strangely GSMARENA ignored the phone design and build quality even-though its the first thing you will notice when you are buying one of them ...... maybe it has something to do with Galaxy s3? maybe!!

Build quality is a big issue. But it seems that the GSMArena team don't think so. They've ignored this point!

In theory, yes, the S3 may appear to be the slightly more powerful phone but in real time use, the One X beats it no ends up in terms of user experience. I have the blue S3 and hardly use it but prefer my One X to it. In fact, I prefer using my Xperia S now that it has got ICS. The S3 feels nasty and the blue is a big fails, do not put it on a hard surface as it scratches real easy, too easy!

These insights you provide might help a lot of people to decide on which is the best smartphone for them. Oersonally I'm in love with the SGS3 but I'm still holding my horses for the Note 2. Kudos GSM Arena.

Unlike the One X - which turned out to be a real hothead - the S3 stayed poised. While the Tegra 3 had to underclock itself during several benchmarks to prevent overheating, the Exynos easily finished first. Only after several intensive runs under very summerly conditions the S3 occasionally reduced its performance. A sure sign that 4 cores are testing the limits of current smart phones. The S3 never got warmer than 39 degrees Celsius, while the X1 peaked at 51.
