Apple iOS 6 review: Moving forward

26 September 2012
The next iOS version has never been as big a deal as upgrades to Android or Windows. If it ain't broke, don’t fix it, must've been the line of thinking and it's up to you to replace broke with fragmented or catching up, as needed...

Widgets, live wallpapers etc are just useless things....Apple ios is simple and beautiful mobile software i have ever used......The thing which i love about it is that it is fluid, smooth and swift, almost no hiccups.....

[deleted post]no, i beleive everyone at gsmarena realizes that the iphone 5 is a silly way of apple to introduce a new device when they have nothing new to introduce, did you not read the initial opion that gsm arena wroet, they hated on the 5

Whatever Android have, that iOS don't, well.. I do not use those features. Widgets? They turn my Samsung S2 so hot that you can make dinner on the back of the phone. Task manager? I do not need to see whatever is running on my phone as long as the OS i stable. Or let's say it like this: a feature Samsung has added and Apple has not: possibility to remove battery. Thank god my Samsung has this option...

I find it more of a downgrade than an upgrade.

is it me, or apple is really trying to copy android and all it's functions, but it just can't keep up ?

the only improvements ar android system copies ...

thought it was quite unbias actually

'You can say that while Android has caught up in terms of user experience with its Project Butter, iOS is trailing behind in terms of functionality.'

'While iOS 6 is probably falling behind the curve'

                      A little bit dissapointment.
                      - Still no widgets
                      - You need to jailbreak and install Cydia apps to use more functionality on notification center
                      - Maps are terrible - if this maps are on iOS 1.0 and 2007 it is ok, but in 2012 and iOS 6 is a big step backward

I think Apple is going on Nokia way, without inovations and only updates on ther products.

Moving forward? Yes. But in the wrong ducking direction!
