Samsung is feeling the heat from its Chinese competitors. Micro max canvas 2 in India and qmobile noir a10 in Pakistan are posing huge threat to Samsung sales in these markets. Samsung is addressing to this situation with this mobile. I must say it is a good move but pricing has to be competitive. I am using one of these Chinese phablets and it is simply amazing for a 100 usd
phone.

I seriously feel that Samsung should have given qhd resolution to this device.
The LG l9 has a slightly smaller yet much more sharper screen.
It does lose in the camera department.
But one of my Co worker bought a grand and it has a weird screen. Gigantic pixels, it may actually prove to be good for old people worth poor eyesight.

Though the specifications mentioned on the net shows 8 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Grand has actually 4 GB internal memory.
Handset is good. Worth buy.

duoky, 04 Feb 2013can anyone confirm if this is the most powerful dual-sim to date?The phone has much better benchmark scores than s2 but its touchwiz is a bit laggy. But I believe its best among battery efficient ones until we see lg l7 dual perform. Both phones have similar pricing. But lg may come with s4 cpu clocked at 1ghz dual.

S3 got premimum Samsung Apps
S3 - Double Processor and GPU or more
S3- SUper Amoleh
S3- USB OTG
S3- better connectivity.
