The larger the individual photo receptors, the more light can hit an individual pixel and therefore, produce a much higher quality photo. If you think that a higher MP count wins the contest of shooting the best photo, then you're more than wrong and live in the past!

For the people who are working at HTC...pls read this!!! This a super phone!!!!!!! nice design, the best audio ever on phones, clear display..nice specs, etc... BUT WHY THE HELLLLLL 4 ultra pixels!!!!! just upgrade it to 13 megapixels or 20 megapigels or something!!!!!!! Even de HTC ONE X has better camera!!!!!!!!!!!! what the hell!!!!!!!! pls HTC produce a another version with better camera!!! WE DONT WANT 4 ultra pixel!!!

Besides, when we say "larger" we mean the size of the individual pixels. A 1/3 with 4mp will have much bigger pixels then a 1/3.2 with 8 or 13 mp, like we have been seeing lately.

If samsung decided to use same chip with 1.9ghz I think this phone would be better less Mhz/screen = longer battery life and runs cooler, not to mention other features such as dual speaker and remote ir control and have 64GB of internal storage which is faster than using microsd card and aluminum construction.

This unquestionably is a sleek and gorgeous device. HTC have certainly invested considerable amounts of time to produce the HTC One; a blazingly, distinct device with a personality of its own. And a thirst for performance too.

Comparing with processing speeds of all other top smart phones .. this one looks to be the best .. guess its time to get Htc One :-P

Don't simply judge it bad before you get to experience the HTC ONE. It's awesome and no other phone has gone this far in software and hardware design.

everything about this new phone is awesome except for the fact it doesn't have a card slot but all in all great phone. I will be looking forward when HTC will beat Samsung haha

Look good, spec is awesome but how the battery life? Sure you get a 2300 rated battery but will it give me more then one day of full uses, I doubt it, seriously is there any manufacture out there trying to achieve this with smart phone, motorola is the only one doing this I think.

heyhi, 20 Feb 2013I bet many xperia z buyers, who pre ordered their phone are... moreBoth xperia Z & htc one hv gr8 design..water resistant is not important 4 me..i m waiting to know which is superior in case of camera..& xperia z hv sd slot but hv total 48 gb ( 16 inbuilt + 32 expandable ) where htc hv 64 gb versions..so though htc dnt hv micro sd still better

i just dun like the design of the phone. but for it camera and new krait 300, it is awesome.. latest qualcom Soc and gud camera instead of focus on megapixel wars and focus on big sensor and lenses..
