Sony's design is elegant,classy and high quality materials used in their products,no doubt about it but one thing I don't like about this great brand,lack of company support to the consumers after you purchased their product.(ATTN:SONY-PHILIPPINES!)

Quadcore doesnt mean it faster than Dualcore, it depend on what apps using it.
If the apps can not do multi threading (split job for each processor cores), have a dual, tri, octa, even 100 cores is useless.
If the apps can do multi thread and maximize 4 cores, it will do good and maybe faster than other processor with faster clock like this S3 vs SP . But it's not all, processor thing is more complex than "cores" and "clock"

nexus 4 have cortex A15 but xperia SP have higher clocked 1,5 GHz vs 1,7GHz and sony have proved they doing better when it comes to optimization.
Just compare XP Z and NEXUS 4 both of them use the same processor but sony score better than nexus even with bigger screen, resolution, and more ppi
( antutu 20000+ vs 15000+ ) (quadrant 8000+ vs 4000+) just check gsmarena benchmark result if you don't belive me

I realise the fact that there are better performance device than the SP. But I think this phone will mostly will recognized for it's built quality, design and the light strip. But come on, 27k for only this? Just another rip off from Sony. The price seems unjustified to me and needs more RAM.

Seems an interesting phone, beautiful too. But I think at this points nexus 4 seems more reasonable around this price range. Stock android (quick updates) + quad core + 2 GB of RAM (in all variants) + decent screen are impressive when compared with sony's SP.

Viewing angles...for those who's complaining about it, and touting about having a girl to share pic with, obviously haven't experienced a stranger looking at ur phone in some subway or other, having them memorizing what they see on ur screen, and kidnap ur daughter/wife/girl afterwards. So much for ur viewing angles. I'd rather share whats on my screen only with those I choose to. But that's just me. Coz I live in a not-so-safe country.
For myself, I like the way XSP looks. The aluminum body, narrow bezel n the glowstrip on the bottom.
But if the rumours that I read about the price is true, then with the spec being put on this phone, it'll be overpriced. Which is, sadly, often the case with Sony on my country. As a Sony lover, I know that their build quality is great, but at Rp. 5,4 mil (± US$ 525), its gonna be hard for XSP...
