this review is unfair.. The note 2 is much older than the Optimus G Pro. A real comparison should be done with the S4 or a future note 3

Bang for buck LG.Drip dead Gorgeous screen visible even with the sun over shoulder. Fast.Great battery life. Business ( for me) dependable. Best value overall LG. 'Nuff said.

Anonymous, 25 Apr 2013They both look so ugly and closely resemble each other.cant agreed more...personally, i hate really round corner. I would prefer something like iphone, LG G, LG 4X HD. Using LG L7 n 4X HD now.

Hi All
Quickly read through this and saw lots of comments about more plastic/less plastic ...
To me I dont care if it plastic or not. What I do care is ... would the phone meet my requirement of my everyday use. i.e ease of use, surfweb well and easy to read, BATTERY LIFE .....
How useful the phone would be to me if it got no battery capacity to meet my daily use?
So in that sense, I would chose a Note 2.
3 reasons:
- Bang for buck. It is cheaper than the LG
- It meet all my needs from a phablet i.e kindle apps, web browsing, watching movies, ring family once in a while.
- got big enough battery capacity for all my videos, surfing throughout the day without having to carry extra battery pack.

Guys...shape and style are about personal taste, u can't push your taste to other. For me i like LG more than samsung, cause LG is my taste. Still shiny plastic ????? OMG.......

my my first LG phone im truly satisfied with my
Optimus G.
excellent camera,excellent design,excellent performance,excellent batterylife and price.
its worth to buy this phone no regret...
i was impressed !

Chances are this note 3 will have a 2Gig Ram 13mp camera/ and it will still maintain the s-pen! But yet Give a LG a break!!!

Whats all this talk about the shape of S3, oblong or not? Masculine or feminine. I have (call myself a man) an S3 and I couldn't be more satisfied.
Note 2 is older than Optimus G Pro so it figures it has an older chipset and somewhat worse screen, but believe it still rocks. Wait for Note 3, it should be a real cracker

goover, 14 Apr 2013i never use LG. But i think i'll try it this is my first ever LG phone and everything are almost perfect. the phone is superb great camera and responsive screen, very good& impreessive batterylife.
i become a samsung user for morethan 7 years
so far no regret for this lg phone.
i had samsung ultra 800, samsung corby 2, samsung s2, samsung note2 and finally this lg Pro.
good job lg and samsung

And its pure shiny plastic...NO METALLIC WHAT SO EVER...
Optimus G has METALLIC BORDERS and its really BEAUTIFUL DESIGN
The FULL BLACK COLOR IS SUPERB.
that is the reason it WON 2013 BEST iF DESIGN AWARD and other MOBILE 's Design awards...
