28 March 2013
As the Galaxy S series counter flips another digit, Samsung has hopes of getting an even tighter grip on the smartphone market, and reasserting its Android dominance. With two of the main rivals enjoying a head-start to the market, the Galaxy S4...

everything nearly perfect except the body made of plastic make it look like cheap device and not high classes like Iphone5 or HTC One or even Xperia Z.

For those of you who chose form (aesthetics) over functionality then it goes to show you're just a show off.
Luckily form and function comes closely knit in some of the flagships nowadays. For me the S 4 isn't good looking but it isn't ugly either. To each his own.

I like this phone a lot. I'm sold on the Super Amoled.

One thing I noticed is.. the camera looks good, it's really good but.. the oversharpening algorithm is really too aggressive. I hope they fix this with an update.

Also the review claims the colors are a little too saturated, I'd say the grass is undersaturated, making the pictures look a little liveless. The SGS3 took more saturated (especially green, red, yellow) pictures and it looked better, they looked so alive and nice.
Both of my issues with the camera can be easily fixed with a software update (or adding an option for color saturation on pictures) and even with these it's still the best camera on a smartphone, second only to Nokia Pureview (I have to give it to Nokia).

Anonymous, 28 Mar 2013You dont understand crowd mentality, i guess you are one of... moreSebastian, you are giving advice here? Ok, for a guy who bought and used the Note II and complained across forums on how terrible AMOLED screen is & hated almost all feature aspects, and who now has an Xperia Z and tells how terrible the S IV's screen is compared to the TFT screen, you don't consider yourself eccentric?

For an anonymous jackanapes who obsessed with the Xperia Z being the ultimate smartphone, you are sourgraping again in these Samsung related forums? Now you wish people not to be buying the S IV because it would mean your XZ to be inferior?

You are a kibitzer. Cellular smartphones aren't exclusive status symbols. That was what you had in mind for the XZ with you wishing it should be selling in the thousands only. Here comes the S IV with the great set of new features with a nice S AMOLED 1080p screen and a target of 100 million units to be sold. What? You would hate everyone else outgunning your "exclusive" Xperia Z?

Stop advising us about eccentricity. You aren't the right person to do so. Anyone has the right to buy an S IV.

Surprisingly not worth upgrading from note2 to s4. Practically they don't differ much, whatever you need to do with your phone, note2 will do just fine, and s4 seems so slightly better that i wonder if i will notice the difference. Let's hope note3 brings some better really useful features.

The international version (I9500) with Exynos 5 Octa SoC will support LTE on all 20 bands, it's confirmed.

Btw, I think this is an amazing phone, fan boys can't accept that S4 it's the Smartphone king for now.

., 28 Mar 2013This phone sucks. It's made for masses, people with no identity..Yeah because we all know having an identity equals buying a phone with fat bezels like HTC one or Xperia z. I hate Samsung as much as you but the others don't even try, so don't be quick to praise them. I mean *really* HTC? A 4mpixel camera? Or *really* -Sony- a washed out TFT coming from early 2000s? What were you thinking to put such components on flagship devices?

Samsung may go cheap on build quality but never sacrifices from thing that matter the most (the camera or the screen) that ought to count for something...

Any software trick or feature u will create in a phone today, tomorrow one or more developer will imitate it easily in an app, & u will find in the google play available for all android users. The real thing is to develop the hardware, then to pack it in a premium stunning design.

Well, lets confess that nowadays the differences are not so big & tangible between the flagships of each brand. However, i still insist that the design, build material, & feelings in the hands are creating the real difference. Iphone is poorer than the s4 & some other androids if we compared the sheets of specs, but iphone is still selling massively because of its look & its premuim build marterial. For me, i will not die if i mess the new bunch of software features & tricks the samsung provided in the s4, but really i will die if i have an ugly shape phone in my hand that can be easily duplicated by any chinese unknown companies & selling it in cheapset prices.
