Congrats all around Sony. You are shining pretty bright in 2013. Despite with all the Sony haters you guys are doing extremely well. Keep it up. That being said the design of the Xperia L is very nice and a pretty good for an entry level smartphone.

It seems like Xperia L camera is better performer than Xperia SP camera, when compared with the photo comparison tool.

The Xperia L have almost the same file size as the Xperia Z on the photos from the camera... That can only mean that the XZ photos are compressed to crap!!

It's a very great phone! Look, it even tops LG Optimus 4X HD in one of the performance tests and comes very close to Xperia V in another... It's almost flasgship performance.

It's a shame that the Sony icons, mainly the bubble ones, are awful. And they still didn't implement the Jelly Bean way of taking things out of the way when you're adding new item to the home sccren (behavior present in HTC Sense since Gingerbread BTW).

Edit: you mention One S might not receive software updates, that's not true as HTC said Sense 5 is coming for it.

I believe these disadvantages shouldn't be considered as this is a mid-range device and already offering more from its limits.
