Bought mine in UK 2005 and still using it just fine. Glad to find the battery spec as I may have to get a new one after 7 years of use ;-)

I bought mine in London in 2005, believe me use it daily in Brazil lost count of how many times he dropped it still works and the battery lasts about 5 days this on 9 / 2010
Without doubt the best phone I've ever had, it is almost indestructible .......

one of the greatest phone i've ever seen. it has long battery life...which even Nokia failed to give. though its a very basic phone.....it rocks!!!

I bought a Sagem myX2 in France two years ago. I am about to return to france with it but a friend told me I should charge the Sagem before I go. I did plug the charger and at first zi saw in the window the symbol of a battery charging then a few seconds later it stopped b. The background is so dark it is close to impossible to read any message however after a lot of trials I was able to detect that the battery is NOT charging. WHAT should I do? Is the US current damaging to a cell phone bought in France?

Hello.
The problem for this phone is the background lights for the keyboard and screen. When the phone switcing ON and OFF - the light OK, they are ON, when switch the charger - they are OK, when is in the INTERNET menu OK, but in all other choice in ALL menu the lights turns OFF. Is there software problem - or its the phone problem. This problem is intil I by it and for now I can't use the guaranty (it's all new phone). Can I reset anyway the software?. Thanks for the answers

good fone....lasts long but it is very basic...good for its time
