pls i need someone to tell me how i can veiw my sim contacts,t i have tried severally but couldnt. I still can't browse the internet with this phone, hence it keeps showing ''service unavailable'' pls someone help me.

i love the phone, is a verygood phone to my taste, but it used to install most of my social network, but refused to lunch them, note: not every of my social network, but little, and i checked all the gprs conection it's well proper setted, anyone can help me out?

hi all, I tried using ano9ther sim card on the phone and i cant view my sim contacts, but when i insert another network provider, it sees the sim contacts .
please, how do i rectify that cos i want to use the other network provider on the phone?

l got this phone, very lovely, infact l luv it so much,but the problem is that,l can't transfer ringing tone from my memory card to make it as a ringing tone,is it how the phone was made or is it that l am the one that did'nt get the setting,kindly pls do me that favour, bcos l feel so bad when l try to use the music from my memory card as a ringing tone that it not possible for me.pls enlite me for the setting.thanks for the samsung A887 luvly phone.

1. Calibrated my screen using my big 'ol thumb (From the standby screen, press Menu>Settings>Phone>Calibration)
2.still didn't work. I found that pressing a little bit to the right of the white triangle worked.

Anonymous, 02 Jul 2010how do you change the lock screen on this phone??After much googling (as I also want to change the lock walpaper) all I ever found was how to change what they call the "screensaver" -which is apparently their way of saying Wallpaper and dodging the locked screen question... grrr

I have a question
Some people say the a885 is a smartphone and others dont......Smartphones connect to the internet without your permission and whenever they want to.....so if i do not get a dataplan with this phone will my bill go sky high? I havent asked telus and on their website it automatically (when shopping) asks you to select a rate plan. I want to to a rate plan but i am afraid of this phone going on the internet without my permission even to update things (expensive)
