dear all , i've had the samsung c6712 for nearly a week now , the battery lasted me 5 days (average use) which is very good . its dual active and dual standby . the only problem with it its a bit slow and the typing its not that accurate . but its ok and i am hopping there is a software update to make it more sensitive and quick ( am using 16gb micro sd card ) . other han that its very nice fone and nice battery.

hi friends 1st time i buyd samsung c6712 on 26-06-2011 at rs6,60(with 8gb and scratch gaurd).
i alwas fan of sonyericcson, i was using W950i( which is alws the best cell phone ever)i use fr more then 5 yrs.
about c6712 duos some feature r not included
Eg.1) call list only max 30numbrs storage(which we have to identify miss,out and incomig calls)bt in
SE(w950i)havg unlimited call list and msgs storage.
2)typing specially in mails very tough and difficult.
3) and d wrost important music PLAYER not hvg any EQULISER or any PRESET settings.i dont know why?
and
GOOD things r so many like
1) Good display( its not 3.2 inches screen its 3.3screen because, i PRACTICALLY tested with new CORBY2 )U just CHECK it Out.
2) in music playr equliser not there BUT in VIDEO player it has 5.1 channel(which gve u good bass effets while watching MOVIES)so i thing its a good deal in LOW range.
so i really Love this phone lot..

u only get with the fone , instruction manual and charger and the phone thats all. i was wondering is there a software update?? cause the typing is a bit slow and not accurate. other than that its very good phone

Most probably your salesperson will tell the only difference from c6712 and s5260 its the second (dual)sim.
Thats not true.
Shamelessly Samsung has cut-off the best music player setting features from C6712.
In the C6712 Applications/Music Player/Settings, the only features available are: "music menu" and "visualization" options.
No "Equaliser" and no "Effects"
This is a bug draw back for C6712.
s5260 music player features, missing at the 6712:
"The S5260 Star II offers the standard equalizer presets: pop, jazz, classic, as well as stereo widening, dynamic and surround effects.
Plus, you won't have any sound effects in it.
"The DNSe sound enhancing technology offers Externalization, Music clarity, Bass enhancement, Mega bass, Wide and Concert hall presets. There’s also a virtual 5.1 channel mode too."
