Anonymous, 11 Mar 2024the a05s locked 90hz display and a05 locked 60hz displayYou can turn power saving mode on, this does make your CPU run max to 70 % and lowers the refresh rate from native 90 Hz to 60 Hz all the time - checked by hw app or, you can check it in developer settings.

Hi, I have been watching for this phone since release, I consider my self as basic user (no games, to work on phone, just basic usage of Whatsapp, weather, bus/train in out times, maps etc.). Priority for me was non-chinese brand, sw updates on regular basis and perspective of 1-2 new Android versions (project mainline makes whole Android much more modular and on my old phone with Android 7.0 many updates were "hidden" behind Google Play and I didnt even know about them - Im fine with that). This phone fits perfectly for basic user. It feels cheap when you touch it, I though the backs are made from metal (from photo) but after first touch, I was surprised that it was plastic - simply put silicon case on it and by eye/visuals it can easily compare to much more expensive phones. 90 hz frequency and fullHD are also very nice to have features. I run it with power-saving mode (70 % CPU and 60 hz limit) simply because of basic usage - and I get 5-6 days of battery life, mainly on WiFi, not BT or GPS on.
Be aware of localization: Im from Czechia and wanted to order the phone from one of the shops, which was advertising it from a better price. I asked them, if they could check, if the phone does have NFC - they replied, that their technicians checked for me and the answer is NO - the phone does not have it. I then asked support on official CZ Samsung page (because on official page data sheet, they said NFC - Yes) and they said, it depends from what source (country) they take order and if I order officialy from samsung, there is guarantee the NFC will be there. And they were right - i ordered and I have this phone with NFC.
Overall, for me 9/10, nothing can be perfect, I would maybe prefer a little smaller phone, but its just a subjective detail :D

samsung A05s .phone is not good ..many problam in this phone.
Hiting problam in this phone.
and this phone wroking very slow work .

Does anybody noticed that this is the only phone from the entire Ax5 lineup that still uses Bluetooth 5.1, while the other one (even the lower A05) already uses Bluetooth 5.3?

never update your device to newer android, you will regret it, if everything seems fine dont update your phone

The A05s can be updated to to One UI 6 (Not Core) now with the the latest update. Although the setting to change motion smoothness is now available, you can't enable dynamic refresh rate for some reason and its locked in the standard setting.

Samsamsam, 22 Feb 2024For those wondering about the 90hz refresh rate of a05s, it... moreUnless the options in the Display menu are wrong, it is off by default (60Hz), and we have to set it manually to Adaptive to get 90Hz when scrolling etc. There is no option to have it 90Hz permanently. I have tried the Developer menu and it works like that.

For those wondering about the 90hz refresh rate of a05s, it's locked at 90hz and there's no available option for us to change it to 60hz
But you can turn on the developer option and show the refresh rate, you can see the 90hz is working
