The phone is great , but you better to buy an old S21 Ultra in very great conditions or refurbish. I had bought A52 and A34 but i sell it because and i can say S21 Ultra is better by far. I buy S21 Ultra in 10/10 condition for same price that midrange like A34 A54 brand new.

So, it is no upgrade of hardly at except 1 year extra major update. Skip this, for no exciting difference. Only good for those who do not have an A54.

At this price point, there's no reason to get this phone even if you don't want to get a Chinese phone simply because of the Nothing Phone 2a. With the Nothing Phone, you get better software, much better performance, and most likely better camera. The A35 is more expensive, and only provides an IP rating and an SD card slot over the 2a. The first being a gimmick for most of people, and the latter is countered by the 2a offering more storage at the same price point.

I feel there is barely a reason to get A55 over A35. Aluminum frame is nice for sure, but not a necessity (though I hope more lower range Galaxy A phones get it in the future). Apart from that, larger camera sensors and a 1 generation newer chip are not basic necessities either. Meanwhile, A55 still lacks wireless charging. I don’t use it but it feels like a weird omission at that price.

I can't see any reason to get this over the A54 when they both use the same chipset and the A54 has relatively better camera than this one.
