Now, I'm stuck with this phone. At least it's 199g, so a bit lighter. But, I don't know what else would I get. I like One UI the most because it has the most important features: Modes and Routines, Always On Display (not tap to show for 10 seconds only like in xiaomi) etc...
I had xiaomi before and I didn't like it. Motorola has bad software support. Sony Xperia 10 V overpriced for snapdragon 695. Google Pixel a series have overheating processors. I'm not even gonna bother with less known chinese brand phones. There's just no good phone in this price range.
I wish, I could get something compact like my old Galaxy J5 (2017), but these times are over. I'm not spending 600 euros for a flagship, cause I like to eat and I don't trust used flagship sellers in my country. There's many scammer phone sellers, that say it's not a carrier phone and then the phone imei gets blocked anyway.
At this point, what I should have done, is to go back in time and buy a good compact phone like 3, 4 or 5 years ago (like Galaxy S10e) and then stick with it to eternity (then paying a bigger price would be justified). Just because people only always want bigger screens. But, I didn't knew what was coming at that time.

I finally bought one chinese adapter (3 euros) with DAC inside, but it stopped working after 2 weeks because of some lose connection...and i hate bluetooth in-ear headset because they are always falling from my ears, and you have to charge them...so no solution

I'm a music producer and I want to know what my mixes sound like on mobiles and I can't do this any more I have to usb c to aux cable I'm not sure if it's got an inbuilt dac as I tried heaps and none would work till I bought a more pricecy one shame on phone manufacturers

In sumsung official web site it says A35 is the only A series phone which comes with AI features. does anyone have more details about this? and If A35 comes with ai why why they did consider it in A55?

I can see someone with an A54, going for A55 but to A35, NOPE. A35 basically same phone with slight downgrades, like selfie camera and different phone hardware external part.

If you’re complaining about how hot the Exynos gets, you can always turn off 5G & get much better thermals. This is undoubtedly the best seller from Samsung in 2024. Period. (After A15)
It’s a huge jump from A34 that it can even be considered an upgrade over the A54!
1) Larger screen (than A54)
2) slightly better thermals (than A54)
3) slightly longer battery (than A54)
4) slightly more symmetrical bezels (than A54)
5) 1 extra year of OneUI updates (than A54)
6) Better selfie processing than the more expensive A55…!
7) Lilac color is going to sell crazy just like the purple A54 last year
The downgrades i noticed (compared to A54) aren’t deal breakers either:
- slightly Worse Ultrawide (same ISP processing tho)
- No HDR certification for Netflix (Youtube still has HDR)
- Desaturated screen colors to match iPhones more natural screen colors (A54’s screen is more “vividly” saturated though that can be considered less color-accurate)
- Slightly weaker haptic feedback (idk if this is true, i haven’t tried typing on the keyboard myself but please check both haptics in-store to get a sense for yourself)
- Frequency of OneUI updates: A3x = Quarterly cycle // A5x = Monthly
- Slightly more Grayish camera punch hole. (Both A54 & A35 are gray but it’s only at an angle on the A54 & black when facing the screen, the A35 is grey even when you’re facing it. The A55 on the other hand has a completely black punch hole that disappears with dark mode)
- Full charge from 0-100% in 1h:20m (A54 is only ~15m faster)
- White/Black color options are blue-tinted unlike last year.
In my opinion, this is better than A54! Thank you Samsung 💙📱

Big oled screen, fast processor, loud stereo speakers, memory card, good cameras from the number one brand in the world...8/128GB for only 300 euros. No need to look for another phone...Love it

I recently bought this phone and its a great phone but there are a few cons. First and very big is that it doesn't have 3.5mm headphone jack and also doesn't support cheap passive USB-C to 3.5mm adapters which are locally available and requires that you either buy USB-C adapter or headphones with built-in DAC which are more expensive locally or wait long time if you buy cheap active adapter with DAC from Aliexpress. Also its a bit heavy and the display colors are a little bit less saturated the red especially compared to Galaxy S10+ and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 4G. I recommend buying Galaxy A52 or A52s as they are almost the same as A35 but are a bit lighter, have 3.5mm jack and the A52 supports HDR colors on the display.
