AsagiX, 20 Jan 2024Common issue for A52 series. Probably due to heat, even if ... moreDarn, I hope that doesn't touch my A51😕. I had to not use it for a few months, and hurriedly update it to Android 11 to avoid extreme heat. It still overheats but less than on Android 10.
I remember when I listened to songs, there was a little click at some moment, I think when it switched.
The cpu performance was poor, it felt worse than my J7 prime even though A51 is 3 years (2016 vs 2019) and 4nm smaller than it.
A51's camera was a little sluggish sometimes.
I think Samsung dropped the ball on Exynos really hard when they closed their Texas research plant in 2018. Before it was decent.

Probably due to heat, even if ... moreEven my A52s did the same, I was confused to why it happened, I basically babysit the phone, putting a Spigen Rugged Armor case as soon as I purchased it, and never took it off since. But if it is heat-related then it could make sense. I'm a bit of a power user after all (I moderately game on it, not using high settings but it does warm the phone for time to time, especially during extended period). Also I live near the equator (which means warmer tropical climate). I even thought my battery was bloated or something, but that doesn't seem to be the case from my limited observation.

recently i am facing a problem with notification panel not sliding down. while i am on my "home screen" it works perfectly. but on any other apps the notification panel won't slide down. does anyone have any solution??

I agree. The Galaxy A52 4G lacks the build quality in comparison with it's competitors, like Redmi Note 10 Pro.
I have my A52 4G for almost 2.5 years now, and the back plastic has come off, like it's gule holding it has dried off. The side rails have started to wobble.

My a52 became much slower like 10 months ago. So i have no choice but to update. I expected slugginesh from a chinese brand but my next phone will probably be Poco x6 Pro. Also build quality of my A52 is not high as you would expect from 300 euro phone branded Samsung! Back panel glue came off. Front display broken yes i did dropped phone several times..So again i believe Poco x6 Pro will be better.

New updates could make our A52 slower from now on due to planned obsolescence. Am not keen on future updates

guys, here is some advice to get a better life of your phone. Don't update the system (even some people prefer to do it) but take this has an example. my poco F3 still has android 11, and the performance is just like the day I bought it. apps run very quickly, battery is good after 2 years and if you can take a proper care your phone will last longer!
