On the the other hand, I may as well ask what will you do if you lose phone or it's stolen which may happen as well. For me, regular backups are good enough solution.

Samsung has removed the dedicated memory card slot (2 SIM + 1 memory card slot) after its A70 model. Now it has removed the 3.5 mm audio jack (A52s 5G is the last A series mid range phone with SD chip to have 3.5 mm jack.

Only A25 with exynos 1280 has it.

I will be using the A52s in the next week or so. Feel free to message me again to remind me and I will be more than happy to feedback to you especially the battery life and performance.
Once i sold my S23 FE 5G i'm planning on selling the A52s if I'm not happy with it. But, if i can't find any small, compact phones that is within my wallet's reach then I may (just maybe ) keep my S23 FE and trading it in with an S23 or S24 FE as long it has a Snapdragon chipset.

I'm not defending missing SD card. Current development on this matter may be mostly business decesion. Either way, I just accept reality and personally can live without it. I still can connect USB stick and run 2 sims so don't like to put them in/out thru hybrid slot anyway. I generally don't trust clouds much but may try them more, too (secondary option tho). My question was genuine. I assume if you own more cards, you'll rather keep an old phone than lose this capability, then.

Inagine you do not have any destination or any way to backup your phone (without memory card slot) and you have to format your phone immediately. What will you do?.

Anonymous, 06 May 2024You'd like the A52s without a case. Great size to hold... moreI've been using the S23 FE on & off so i'm afraid I could not form a "definitive" opinion.
But what i can say is this:
It is just smudge heavier than the A52s due to its design - but the difference is almost not noticeable
Side by side it is slightly shorter than the A52s and wider which i do not like
The battery drain seem to be at par with the A52s tho i need to test it everyday to find out more - but being a more efficient fab the Exynos 2200 may be slightly better than the SD778G 5G chip.
My "benchmark" on how good the chipset is by slapping on a third-party launcher like the Microsoft launcher. And based on that the S23 FE is again almost at par with the A52s in terms of the gestures, opening & closing of apps, etc.
Camera wise i did some personal tests the other day during the day, indoors thru the windows on a bright sunny day and indoors with only the TV on and no other artificial light. I found the S23 FE to be better with colour rendering, white balance, contrast and dynamic range by at least 20%-30% more than the A52s.
I'm trying to sell my S23 FE but if I can't find a seller in three months then i will just have to keep it and trade it in for something later this year.
                          Did that helped at all?

Great size to hold and elegant looks (compared to my generic case). However the phone's not the right case for 'caseless'. To end dimensions topic, good luck with future models (you will need some).

Could you leave few words on S23 FE here, please? How much it drains over night and some overall impressions, if it's worth in owner's eyes. (no rush, when you feel like)

For me 128GB is more than enough as I save most of my files (photos, videos, documents, etc.) thru the cloud and cloud-based services such as Google Photos, Microsoft 365, One Drive, apps, etc.

The A52s is almost an ideal size, weight & dimensions
The S23 FE would have been a lot better if it was less wide
The Pixel 6a & 7A are almost perfect sizes for me but if it had slightly bigger screen (6.2") would be much better
The base Galaxy S23/S4 are way too small for me but it's kinder to my hands. The Plus versions is a bit big for me.

                                      To all :
Sad thing is that the Samsung S20 FE 5G might not support jio operator's (India) VoNR facility.
