Even my xiaomi 10T screen is still work like a charm even though I often smash it onto the tiled floor or onto the my motorcycle handlebars, and the only broken is its upper microphone that cannot be fixed without replacing the mainboard..!!

I used to be a Samsung user until i switched to China brands because of battery longevity. Im planning to switch back to Samsung because i miss the user friendly ability, but im worried about battery life. May somene advise me if the battery life has improved since? My last Samsung was Note20

high p... moreI have the 8/128GB variant. Antutu storage speed shows the device is using UFS 3.1. RAM is also LPDDR5. I think this is one of the reasons along with a better CPU that makes the day to day to use very smooth. I had the A52s, it has a good CPU but held back by the RAM and Storage speed, it stutters when there are a lot of apps and notifications. A55 sails through these.
Overall experience is much better than what the specs suggest.

My A51, A71, Fol... morecome on, when you break the screen on these other brands, come back, please let me know if they replaced your screen for free, that would be an excellent replacement for samsung, I will immediately replace it under warranty from all the ones I have bought so far, huawei, xiaomi, samsung ,alcatel,LG,etc clearly says everywhere that physical damage to any part of the phone is not recognized in the warranty, let's teach us who recognizes it for clumsy hands

I Will never buy samsung phone anymore..!! My A51, A71, Fold3 screen is getting lightsaber upter updating/upgrading system..!! at first I thought it was my fault when my A51 screen get it, but after my Fold3 screen get it too, and they ask me about U$580 to change its creen?? and they said it would most likely break again with the same case!!? d*mn..!! thats it..!! No More Samsung device in my life..!! I will stick with my Poco F5, Xperia 5 and Iphone 15 pro for now..!!

I bought A55 256GB around two weeks ago. I got lured by £40 samsung corporate shop discount, £50 rebate, and another £50 to return any phone (I managed to return my green screen of death snapdragon s20 which is completely uneconomical to fix).
The phone is well built, the screen is just gorgeous (very legible in daylight, even better than Pixel 6a/iPhone 13), CPU very responsive yet never heat up, UI is well designed and storage is just HUGE. Battery life is also decent, although it takes quite a bit of time to charge.
The only thing that prevents it from bring high end proper (on top of DeX and wireless charging) is the camera - it actually has a sensor powerful enough for night photo, but it fails miserably with ghost light or when the object is in motion (or when I took photo on a train/bus). As I use it alongside my iPhone 13 it is not a problem to me, A55 actually complements it very well; however, as I switch from pixel 6a, I clearly feel that while cpu and screen technology improves, "downgrade" the camera from any flagship is not something everyone can accept.

The phone is good but overpriced here in India.. Plus it lacks a telephoto camera for portraits.
