S23fe is better than this phone. Glass back and metal frame made it heavier compared to its predecessor A54. It does not provide wireless charging. Can not place it flat on a table due tocamera bumb. A covers the advertised backside of the phone. Camera is not showing any significant improvements. 1480 is just a yearl upgrade. Still better than 1380. But not a huge improvement any there are many others phone with beter specs. The pricing is high and the phone dont pack anything of value for the asking price. The bezels and the bumb on the frame makes it easily identifiable.

can anyone confirm that the A55 will get monthly (not quarterly) security updates for 5 years? the Samsung site says so but only for 'enterprise models' of A55 - I don't know if that means all A55 models. Thank you

Also, it's a phone that would kick a## of any 5 year old flagship, the flagships of yesterday are midrangers of today, that's how tech works, old tech gets cheap.

I think i have to wait for the upcoming S24Fe, i heard it will have a thin bezels and hopefully equipped with AI features.
For the price of more than $400, we deserved to have a good and presentable screen.

don't fall for those who write bad comments, they are just there to talk and be selfsatisfied with a bad comment,
this A55 is excellent in any way,
what i can't tell you if it's great for playing games, because i do it on my PC,
also look at the you tube reviews and it will be clear to you,
but you have the option to expand the RAM memory from 8 to 12 GB for gaming,
I certainly don't blame VIVO, but I'm not even familiar with their operating system,
so the decision remains up to you, maybe it's best to go to the store
and look at both and make a decision,

A55 is a big heavy warm brick. I stopped keeping it in my pocket due to the temperature. This might be the successor of the infamous note phone. I suggest that samsung should recall this model. With the current temperatures and the inability of the phones cooling system and exynos processor, this phone is a ticking disaster.
