No matter how old the phone is (5yrs)it's still so smooth and snappy .In my version the only problem is that it doesn't have NFC but I compensated it with my galaxy watch 4.This phone was originally my dad's he passed it to me he bought it the year it was released and still to this date we didn't need to replace the battery even once.the display,can't resist saying that it's amazing it's contrast and even while being 720p the substantial amount of details it offers kind of blows my mind

Try to Charge with Mi 2.0 micro USB 2amp and Samsung fast charger, it will in 2.15 hours, tride on My a6 2018, Still using these phone.
Battery and usb port must change in service as its more than 5 years Device.
1) Call quality still top notche.
Q) But is it ok to use old device without security patch? NEED REPLY.

Using this phone for 5 years and it's still good, battery health 85% and it was only a 3000mAh, chipset Exynos, not the efficient SD.

THIS PHONE IS SO GOOD I CANT.my dad bought me this phone 2/32gb (Now i need 128gb) its worked 5 years i dropped him on floor from beton to wall.on car but nothing.but i finally destroyed him (Eh...) And when i turned off for 5 days it charged from 5 to 35... Very good phone

I think for 0-100% it takes 7-8hrs in his original charger.. Already tried different cable and charger but the charging speed is the same...

I have been using mine since 2018 Sept, 5yo to be precise. Now it has issues with charging and currently off. Not sure if the problem is with its battery life or charging system'. It has been a good ride though over past 5 years, great phone

To anyone whos battery is running low - try a new charger. If that charger doesnt work, try a different one.
I have bought at least 6-7 chargers until I got to the perfect one for believe it or not only 3€, and its a charger that looks basically like a phone holder - I guess the phone just needs a stable plug. Works like magic!
Battery now strong and durable.
I have the phone for 5 years now, it still works perfectly :)

Have this phone for 4 years and very pleased with it. Still good battery life, used all day long for calls and browsing. Durable, compact, metal body, card slot plus dual sim. Why not this quality in Samsung S flagships?

The battery has gone on mine and I think that is disgraceful as it is ONLY 4 years old.
Unfortunately, Samsung designed this model so that you can't change the battery yourself.
I took it into a repair shop. In heating up the case to remove it they cracked the glass and in replacing the glass they damaged the ribbon cable.
So. It's a great phone, very easy to use, nice and small, but watch out for that battery life.
