Anonymous, 10 Apr 2024Perfectly said 👏 dear. I'm also a owner of Galaxy A73 ... moreExactly that. Much thinner bezels. More optimised processor (for switch emulation too). Real proximity sensor. More comfortable build in hand. No chunky design. No glass back to break. Lightweight enough (A55 exceeds 210g, you could throw it like brick and send someone over to the hospital - I guess that's a feature nowadays). A73 is the best. Wish I had it, but I was too late and got A34 with mediatek. It's not perfect, but it's ok for temporary phone. However, what I don't support at all is exynos.

I'm also a owner of Galaxy A73 5G till today, and I never regret having the Galaxy the A73 5G for a day that passes by. To me the Galaxy A73 5G is much better than the Galaxy A55 5G in everything.

It can even be used for the next 2-3 years as long as Samsung gives 4 years of android updates and 5 years of security updates to it mid-range phones.

imo a73 is probably the best budget big screen phone u can get and even on 2024, still have better specs than other brands, a5 is fine but a7 is better.

They have virtual proximity sensors. I personally can live with it because I don't make many phone calls, I'm using text messaging more often, but for those who use their phones for work it's a dealbreaker. So, I support those who are loud about it that we do not like this "profits over customer rights" change.

Therefore, always if you update let the device cool down as much as possible, maybe use an external fan at home even in the process. Just to be sure

The last good samsung high-end midrange phone. I'm a bit sad that I was late to the party and couldn't get it on time (instead I got A34 with mediatek, because A73 was not available in my country anymore - it's okay, but not ideal), but if this samsung midrange exynos pandemic still continues in the next years I'm just gonna buy Sony (maybe?, I like the notchless design, but I wish they had better aspect ratio though).

To any of the A73 owners, hold on to it as long as possible, if you don't want to get a high end phone. There's nothing better at midrange for now (April 2024). Sd 7 gen 1 on M55 is a piece of crap. Unless you wanna get a secondary chinese phone that you don't store your data on (for emulation, demanding tasks and such) that have sd 7+ gen 2 or sd 7+ gen 3 - avoid 7s gen 2 though, another junk.

I been saying this all this time - it's a scam from them after yearly warranty expires .

It is obvious you just think you just want to blab off without any backings of your claim.

It happens when you drop and physically damage the phone. It is not possible for an update to cause green lines. It doesn't happen on its own either.

Update right away to latest Android 14. Be warn though, there is an open issue of Samsung displays 6.7-inches or bigger that tends to receive these irritating 'green and purple lines' once the an update was pushed. Since there is no more effective warrantly from Samsung - if you do get the lines on your screen, then U will definitely 'cough up' additional money to replace the screen. Its a tricky one but IF you happen to own a non-defectve display Samsung phone - then good for you. Good Luck !
