Still working however probl... moreI got same problem but to top it off I can't get battery replacement from Samsung Service center in my country. Rest assured it's still rocking, just need to charge twice if usage is heavy for the day otherwise still gives me about 4 hours SOC on the original 2018 battery.
Facing no problen from daily usage , uninstalled most of the apps like Samsung Pay, and other bloatware. Currently using Good Locks skins and the device is holding on with 2/6GB Ram used for system.
I am just waiting for 2027 user replaceable battery law from EU to enforce and probably get same in my country. S, waiting out till then to upgarde.

I got this mobile from my brother (2022) because he just upgraded to S23 Ultra, Actually he bought this mobile on june 2018, It has been 4 years now there is no issue i am using as my secondary mobile....
One small request.. if possible means please give the OS update to 10 or 11...

Bought one mid-2018, and have gone through accidental falls to concrete floors, fell into water, beach sands, etc. Still working but have to buy a new phone because the storage space had ran out despite my clean efforts. Looks like it will remain in working condition for longer and will be using this as my overseas phone whenever I travel.

This phone makes me Samsung lover...
Bought one in Aug'2018 and still works fine... slipped from my hand in stair case and roll down to 10-12 steps..all 4 corners crashes but still working without any flaws..
I'm really addicted to this and now searching to upgrade only in Samsung A series phones..

All the spare are available, Kindly check with all authorised service centers in your city. Last year i changed my display they ordered display from vietnam.

My review after 4.5 years
What got damaged? (Used a case for 2 years; No screen protector)
- Volume button fell off after 3 years.
- The lateral is starting to get discoloured.
- 3.5mm jack doesn't work anymore (my fault)
- Ear speaker is too quiet and not usable
- Screen survived many falls from 1.4 meters but got damaged from a 20cm fall (bad luck I guess)
Cameras
- Really bad but I knew about it before buying and don't care.
Software
- It is running OneUI 1.0 and received security updates until December 2021. It still is feature packed in comparison with more "stock" roms. It still is fast enough for basica users, but everything takes some time to load for the first time.
Exynos 7885
- It's weak but you can get by with light use. I can still play CODM on low and the power efficiency is excellent.
Battery
- I'm still getting 8 hours of SoT and the capacity has degraded to about 70%.
Display
- Has a bit of green tint (since new) on low brightness (

I bought this phone last july 2018. Very expensive.but ist okqy because the phone really nice. Untill this year come 2023 last feb.my phone is brokrn. Its totqlly black. And samsung told me need to replace some parts of my phone and worth 13k. Is like a half price of my phone.
