god phone but terrible battery life, only last 4 hours aftar full charge with usega such as light browsing and chatting

Great smartphone. Incredible camera quality. Amazing performance. Really bad battery life. The battery it just sucks. This phone deserves a better battery pack.

I have using this galaxy alpha for almost 2 years since 2015 and it's fit me well. With its metallic exterior design and super-slim-light make it more convenient for daily use.
About the camera nothing problem at all eventhough the tech is a bit backward but just fine for me.
For overheating problem yeah all samsung device did the same. Nevermind there were many apps to cool your phone.
About the battery yeah it cant last long for heavy user. But if you just a simple user it suits you. I got battery replacement just once and it works well.
I am not changing to other brand unless the phone had slice into two lol. Love alpha !

The Samsung alpha is a great phone, very practical gets everything done quite well in an easy way,not heavy actually very light and slips into your pocket with ease, but I must say Samsung never worked on this phones battery, the battery sucks!!! I've bought a pair of new batts but I get only 5 hours of batt life when fully charged. Phone 95% awesome, batt 95% bad

To stop lag, I deleted all AT&T apps. Afterward the phone works perfectly. Its an amazing phone and s worth every penny. Camera is great but doesn't have any low-light adaptivity. but again, for the price, its great.

Regarding people complaining about the battery lasting just 6 hours.
Mine with a 100% charge is easily last the whole day with heavy internet and.web browsing still have enough to last me all day.
This is an amazing phone in my opinion. It's like a mini flagship phone in its time with a premium design n body. Light weight.
I love this phone soo much that I have decided to buy another 2 new of the same phone which I've done before.
The new s7 /edge are great. But there as long as there is no mini version ill be sticking to the alpha for a year or even 2.

My galaxy alpha sometimes hang and need to reset...or it will reset by itself but the process normally incomplete, so i have to remove the battery. I had send to Samsung Service Center but after 2 weeks its happen again. Anybody can help me on this?? Thanks in advance.

the phone is good at all, but it's camera isn't sharp, more especial front camera
