This phone called the galaxy F did exist at some point of time with these specs, but for some reason samsung decided to make a phone with metal body that could also rival the iPhone 6 and therefore decided to cancel the galaxy F and make a phone with a 4.7 inch 720p screen (yes, that is the galaxy alpha). The lesser screen resolution of the alpha did not require a snapdragon 805 chipset or 3 GB of RAM, so instead it got an exynos 5430 chipset and 2 GB of RAM. To all those who are eager to get the galaxy F, this device does not exist anymore but the galaxy note 4 actually offers the same specs but with a bigger display, a stylus and a better rear camera so you do have that as an option.

Much liked if Samsung Galaxy F contained this specs:
1.Display.- 5.3"inches QHD - LTPS screen ( please not Super Amoled or )
2.Memory.- 3 GB RAM
3.Chipset.- Exynos 5433
4.Battery.- 3000mAh
That's be a monster smartphone and return smiles of fans

I've been waiting this phone for almost a year now, and now they are releasing the Alpha which imo is garbage, compared to the released specs of the Prime, I've been waiting for a super phone for a long time and this one is the one to blow iPhones out of the water.

Was this the preliminary specs for the alpha?If it is it should be removed because the alpha is announced and is on its way to the stores.
I think this phone is the flagship of the "A" but some things don't add up.So will gsmarena remove or revise these specs?

THE NET SAID samsung alpha is the samsung F and CAME in september and the F is really the "alpha" and the specs are very diferent and crapy is NOT 3G of ram is NOT 4K is NOT 805 snapdragon so132.4x65.5x6.7mm and weighs 115 grams. It has a 4.7-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display and runs the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It also comes with the LTE Cat.6 support denoting LTE-A speeds of up to 300Mbps. In addition, it has other connectivity options including Micro-USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, and NFC. It is powered by an octa-core chipset with quad-core 1.8GHz and quad-core 1.3GHz. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha also comes in a quad-core variant with a clock speed of 2.5GHz. There is 2GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt non-expandable storage.
