Samsung is trying to sell a low end device as a mid range device, Samsung is supposed to giving out devices like these for free to kids in third world countries but they are trying to cheat consumers into buying another crappy device just because it has a Samsung logo on it.

I was thinking that the J Max may carry a 7" FHD SAMOLED Display, Iris Scanner, 6mm thick, Stereo Speakers, NFC, Infra-red, Removable Battery of 7000mAh rating, 20MP Rear, 8MP Front Camera, Snapdragon Octa Core Processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB Storage, 128GB Expandable Storage, Single nano SIM, Type C Connector, Wireless Charging, Multicolour Status LED, Corning Gorilla Glass Display Protection, No Physical Buttons on the Front, at a decent price of ₹20,000.00

But all my expectations shattered into bits and pieces when I learnt that the J Max is similar to the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 G7102, with just a large screen and sealed battery of 4000mAh (See Specifications as well as Summary Icon of a Lock beside the Battery indicating sealed battery) at ₹13,500.00

Samsung, I mean, why do you even try making one when you just can't!
It's quite weird to see the hardwork you put in, and still struggling like Nokia did.
You are long gone from this tab market scene, and in that sense, you are responsible for ill conditions of tablet market.
After GT P3100, there's not even a single tablet device you can claim has moved forward!

Anonymous, 09 Jul 2016It's not a tablet, because Samsung is not selling it as one... moreI can sell 10 inch tablets as phone, yet that won't make that device a phone.
Neither my old Xperia will became tablet , if I call that name.

This device is tablet, actualy it's a galaxy tab A with different name.
The specs and designs are the same.

Why is the J2 and J Max using very cheap processors. Please build quality mobile phone which are faster and better. Stop using tricks like giving very good spec and using a very very cheap processor.

its like mix tabs s with j1 ace and the result will be this. so the specs is not good for programing and gaming and the size is not good for telephony. so for me better tp wait for huawei mate 9 or asus zenfone 3 ultra

1.5 gb of ram? WTF?! The note 2 had 2gb. Is this better ram than the Mega had? It damb well better be or this thing is CRAP! I WANT IT! But with 1.5gb of ram I feel like I got F*C*ED AGIAN just like with the Mega. I want a GIANT phone but it also has to WORK PROPERLY! I have the Note 4 (only because Samsung dosent make anything larger that works) with 3gb and IT could use a bit more ram. Thanks for nothing F*C*ERS!

Anonymous, 09 Jul 2016Den u buy note 5 Yes, I would if Samsung came up with a Note 5 having a 7 inch screen, Snapdragon 820, 4Gb RAM, Dual Sim, separate slot for Memory Card, FM Radio and 6000 mAH Removable Battery. I wouldn't mind paying more for it.

Had a Mega 6.3 and loved it, the big screen was wonderful. Size was no problem, but weight of 200g was too heavy... bought an S6 Edge 130 g only much better...J7 Max is 276g far too heavy to be brought with you
