This is the sham\scam I been sharing to all of the corrupt bussiness practice by shamsung to everyone who ever owned 6.7-inch or bigger, There is really no other choice but to replace the screen - and this is the sham comes in. I been rallying this for a long time that Shmsung sold defective screen and thus violates thier core basic warranty they all thier products are 'free of hardware defects'. We need to all pool together for a global class action lawsuit on this issue.

Tbh great phone I like how good the camera and how smooth it is but due to overheat after using camera the back of the phone loosened up, the back cover almost opened up, and I almost got greenline because there was early signs of it, thankfully I didn't update it to latest OS update or it might've gotten greenline just as you guys said.:(

After 3 years Green and red lines appear on the LCD. Every week add one line. The back cover opens by itself. The battery only lasts 6 hours

Nah relax bro,green line makes annoying but it's okay.
My phone SM-N985F/DS Got green line not because of update one ui 5.1,but because i often drops his cellphone.

Very disappointing... it seems it is a manufacturing defect or whatever it is, it is not because of the user or mishandling of the phone. Very expensive phone and lasted only 2 years.

I have a Korean Variant here which I stopped updating after 5.0 and was wondering if the green line issues only affect certain variants?

My note 20 ultra had vertical green line on the screen. Upon queries and research, the culprit was the update. And the only solution available at that time was to replace the LCD (which was costly). My phone was already out of warranty. So I stopped using it. Later on when I checked, the lines increased.
Last month, I had the LCD replaced. No choice. I can't yet let go of the phone.
Then there was an available update again. I'm torn if I have to have that update or not. Would it cause green lines again? I asked Samsung. They could not give me an answer.
So, no more update for the mean time. I have One UI version 5.1, Android Version 13.

I thought the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra came equiped with UFS 3.1 instead of UFS 3.0, especially with the Snapdragon 865+ variants.. What is going on here?

E-187, 06 Nov 2023How many Android updates this phone will get? Is it 5 year... moreOfficially it is to get patches until August 2024, and is done on Major updates, but I really hope Samsung surprises us. Would make sense to at least do 5 years.

Why was there a pink line in my samsung note 20 ultra. When i visit the service centre there are not able to provide an explaination after waiting for almost an hour my problem was not solve.
Scenario 1 - if not warranty repair cost estimated between $450 to $500 plus depend on the condition of the phone use for only 1 year
Scenario 2 - it will repair for free if the condition of the phone is in order
Scenario 3 - it will take two to three weeks to fix the problem
