      I have this phone, but it doesn't turn on, and it's cracked, so my new phone is now honor 8a 2019

        Upgrade to android 10 with lineage is 17.1 android 10 Q Exynos version.It has all cool feature include fingerprint and it stable

          This masterpiece...
          No 120hz, no all screen notches, no 5g, no BS!
          Pure power, removable AND upgradeable battery, micro sd, EVERYTHING!

          8 years later, I never imagined how phones industry would turn in a MEME, something like "who's gonna remove everything from a phone and call it "Innovation" ?"
          Or even better, all these great things this phone had, are now labelled as "Legacy Features"

                  slopydamk, 20 Apr 2022battery life suck. after upgrading to android 6 lollipop, t... moreIf that's the Snapdragon version there is Android 11 for this device. Exynos has Android 10 ATM. I had to buy a new battery for my Note and it fixed the random reboot/shutoff issues.

                        battery life suck. after upgrading to android 6 lollipop, the phone is always overheating and the phone randomly shuts down at 50%, after powered on its still left 0%. and the screen res is fixed to qhd which drains more battery life and performance

                            I still struggle to let go even when I do not use it.
                            The camera is STILL competing and in many times beating even my new 11T pro's 108mp big camera sensor. The S pen? Never changed the tip and I draw using it a lot. The brick? Still works like new with fast charge (at least until last time used a few months ago)
                            DAMN Samsung knew how to make phones!!!

                              After a couple of years with it a separation from this phone seems impossible. I just keep keeping it and seeing off my "newer" phones. There's simply too much nostalgia.
                              The cameras are real plus its internet data bundle consumption rate is agreeable. Background data restriction is real unlike in higher Android devices

                                I've owned 4 note 4's over the years and they are great phone's until you update them to android 6.0 then the ROM gets very slow as Samsung purposely slowed them down...The Snapdragon 805 version ALWAYS results in the solder melting on the CPU so that the phone gets "Could not read MMC" error. The only fix for this is to install wake lock but then the battery is drained at a heavy rate. Posting this from my note 4.

                                  I still have trouble throwing it or selling it (works, battery is weak tho) I just love it. Back when Samsung put effort and passion into devices.
