ognjen, 29 Jan 2024Hi all, This is more a question then comment, but well... ... morejust buy snapdragon

Narazumono, 28 Jan 2024What the hell is the "banana blur issue"?Banana blur is a non-rectangular blur in all S23 images taken with the main camera sensor. Especially noticeable when you can't get a single shot of A4 document without blurry results... Samsung officially acknowledged it, shocker in fact but it's due to the aperture being bright to enhance night shots, but they say they'll fix it in software updates ...

I too, was like wait banana blue? Can't we just call it what it is, poor camera tuning.

scorpio, 22 Jan 2024Sorry don't understand. You say you already have an SG... moreIt would have thrown off my trade in and purchasing I do with a watch each year. Tonight, I looked again and they had some accessories I could purchase. So I ordered the 512GB S24 Ultra with a $650 trade in for my S23+. And I was able to spend all but $4 of the $150 on accessories.

I was also able to get 10% cashback, by going through TopCashBack.
And, Samsung had two years no interest (although I always pay it off before I get a new phone the following year, so I can trade it in)

Mad4Mobile, 20 Jan 2024Guys, need an honest opinion. I am presently having S 23 Pl... moreWouldn't be wise to buy the new one when you already have a lively phone which is similar if not better than s24 plus, considering you will be downgrading to the faulty exynes chip. Your phone might be the last one that possesses snapdragon regarding the + category so I can't fathom why would you swap to the new one.

The AI nonsense will still be applied to the older versions so you really shouldn't be worried about that.

Mad4Mobile, 20 Jan 2024Guys, need an honest opinion. I am presently having S 23 Pl... moreI would have stayed with S23+ since its SD not exynos moreover S23 series will also get AI features with 6.1 update.......It will be bad option to spend 42k for just extra Ram and storage and even exynos........Though I'm enjoying my S22+ still.

scorpio, 18 Jan 2024Do you mean upgrade to a GW7? You already have a GW6.I'... moreI have a GW5 and a GW6. I was going to use my $150 credit from the 24 Ultra purchase toward the GW6. To replace my GW5. But they were out of stock for the color watch and accessories I wanted. I had waited until I could get 10% cash back from TopCashBack from my 24 Ultra purchase. But now I need to wait to see if they start allowing the credit to be used later.

Unless BestBuy starts matching the trade in credit of $650, for my s23+, that Samsung is offering. Then I would go through BestBuy. Since they are also giving a $150 BestBuy gift card with the 24 Ultra purchase. And the trade in process is better and quicker at Best Buy. Since it is done in person.

Guys, need an honest opinion. I am presently having S 23 Plus 8/256 GB which is 6 months old. How prudent it will be to swap with S24 Plus 12/512 GB one? In India, we are getting only Exynos variant. The company is asking Rs 99,999.00 (with discount) and trade in value of my device is around Rs 53,000. Another Rs 5,000.00 discount with HDFC credit card. So, net payable is Rs 42,000.00.
Positive points for 24 is extra RAM, extra storage, extra brightness, extra size (little bit), Galaxy AI, more battery power etc.
Negative points are Exynos (though I am not sure how good or how bad it is) and the additional money that I will have to pay.

Will it be justified? Please note that I am not interested with S24 Ultra. If I go for S24, I will have to pay Rs 22,000.00 but with lass RAM, less storage, less battery, less brightness and also compromise on some other parameters.

Although, after looking at the Samsung website today, I will probably be upgrading my GW5 to a GW6 during my S24 Ultra purchase. And use my promotional credits toward it. Since, if I actually get the extra $50 credit for signing up early for the S24 Ultra pre-order. That will take the price of a 44mm GW6 down to around $30 for me.

aaronwt, 15 Jan 2024Yes I am. I currently have a GW5 and a GW6. I will upgrade ... moreGreat. I imagine that you find each new watch incrementally improved over the previous model rather than a large jump. I had a 4 year old Galaxy Watch before getting my GW5 as a promotional gift when I bought the new s23 straight after its release here in Australia and I found it to be quite a leap ahead of the old watch. I love my s23 (previously had an s10) and my GW5.

So I would upgrade my GW5 to a GW7, and my GW6 will become my daily watch. While the GW7 will be the watch I wear at night and on weekends.

Before i used to like small phones...but now i prefer bigger screen. The problem is the weight, so i have to compromise and 6.4" screen with 170g like my S21FE is the nice spot...
