Does S23 make a good device even for 2024. After receiving ai features and 6.1 ui and it also has hit the sales of almost 20k INR discount on flipkart.
I like small phones.
What's the opinion here.

There are tons of videos online of S23 phones fully operational while submerged under water, Some videos even show a complete device tear down and inspection after the submersion test, showing no water damage to the internal hardware. There are laws against companies making false claims about their products being sold in the USA. It is quite foolish of you to conclude that Samsung is lying about the S23 IP rating based solely on the fact that your S23 was defective.

I can only charging it wireless, yesterday I tried several cables to do a backup but nothing happened I restart the device I blow it with a compressed gas and still nothing...I even tried to transfer my files via Bluetooth to two different laptops still nothing happened...I'll try to clear cache and data as last option and if not then I'll sent it back for repair...

Exikias, 22 Apr 2024Does anyone have problems with the charging port of the device?I had after gently wiping S23 with wet wipes. Supposedly IP68 water and dust protection, until you find out it's just a marketing and phone has Zero water resistance.
Had to blow the charging port with a hair dryer, put it into oven @90°C for 2 minutes and somehow managed to charged it via laptop. Then I deleted all USB port-related cache and data. Now works OK.
But I advise you to buy something better like Asus Zenfone 10 or Meizu 21, a lot better phones with better cameras and no issues. Samsungs have plenty of issues.

Finger print does not work properly after the update. I reset the four finger prints but in vain.

Anonymous, 15 Apr 2024Hey everyone, kindly put thoughts forward for experience of... moreNothing ground breaking.
Most AI feature one is going to use after 15-20 days; is about camera.
                      And one is writing style.
                      3rd is circle to search.
                      Battery life is not impacted.
AI generated wall papers are not out of blue.
If you are using samsung notes, it will help.
If you are not natively english speaking person, then AI features related voice are not of much use.
No random shut off after update, so bug free.
No slowing down; as I am not expecting this as this just one year old phone.

Yeah, gotta be the fact that there is not that much demand. Personally I would never go for S23 if I can get 23+ not only it has faster charging but bigger battery and while faster charging is artificially lowered, bigger battery probably wouldnt fit in the base 23.

If your paying small fortune might as well see everything on a more comfortable screen. I believe that's what most people think, including me. And its really the same story with midrange because for a lot of people that midrange price will be small fortune, they are either not too wealthy or simply don't want to spend more on a thing like smartphone.

I have an s23 which I love and have no real problems. I have set the charge to limit at 85% as suggested by Samsung and it has always come off charge at 85%. However just recently - perhaps in the last week and perhaps since the last update - the phone has come off charge at 79% only instead of 85%. Can anyone shed some light on this please? I have put it back on charge to come up to 85% but it still limits at 79%. Weird. Other than that the phone is perfect.
