Battery life was ok-ish, not very good. Battery life of SD8 gen 1 is .. guess what, ok-ish, not very good! AND it heats more.
I'd say exynos is on its way. Exynos complainers should be happy with this free market. Go buy your qualcomm phone. Fine. Imagine theres only qualcomm, and no mediatech, exynos or apple, things would come to a standstill pretty much. and be very expensive.

yup,i still have my samsung s8 ,it still works ... i tried using it the other and its still runs fine after all this time ....i actually sent it to the customer care the for a battery replacement because cuz i really want to use it again,phones r too big now , ihave the 23 ultra for gaming and socials,so it will be fun and im looking forward to it ... the s8 is honestly my favourite phone ever

I think that's one of the reasons why Samsung still makes two chipset versions for their devices as there is a chance that Snapdragon could flop.
So, what's my point?
Snapdragon weren't always the better solution then Exynos. Who can guarantee that won't happen again?
I am just a 33-years old boomer and this was my 2 cents.

Exynos is not good, s23 series was comes with snapdragon but i was no idea that s24 series comes with exynos, there is no any competition between both of them. Snapdragon is always best, you can feel it day today normal phone usage. I disappointed from this......

Mickey, 24 Apr 2024I have S22 and never experienced thiscameras beimg blurry around edges was always a thing,gps is also pretty bad which i never thought would be an issue but now that ive tried it it gets confused quite often when you press to see your location on gmaps,also the phone overheats and wont charge when you use instagram video calls,whatsapps the worst i leave the phone propped up and talk for 15 20 minutes it warms up like old s22 and uses up a lot of battery,when it runs out of battery i have to put it in a fridge for 10 15 mins so it starts charging at all then unplug and use whatsapp/instagram video call/viber

Just like my previous Samsung S23, S24 is a terrible phone. Camera has blurry areas, phone sometimes freezes for no specific reason, a lot of times you need to calibrate navigation as phone is literally lost, sometimes in phone calls you answer but can't hear other person while the other person can hear you, present in both S23 and S24.
In general way too expensive phones with plenty of bugs but really strong marketing. And all that hype around "Samsung Galaxy". Sold both of them and bought Asus Zenfone 10 and Meizu 20 Classic - have zero problems with them.
