Very fast and nice looking, long lasting battery, immediately connect on the computer to transfer the notes, really nice for a ten years old machine

Your best bet is Android 5.11 on cyanogenmod 12. Its the most stable upgrade which still runs most modern apps without being too stretched on resources.
Tried Android 6.0 (cyanogenmod 13) and 7.0 (LineageOS), and both have performance issues after loading one or two apps.
All are available from XDA forums.
I just setup mine (2023) as a thin client that remotes into citrix workspace/teamviewer, general mapping, web/youtube browser and document viewer. Bluetoothed with Keyboard and Mouse.

How can I bring this Old Tablet back to life in 2023? It has no user trusted credentials. It has trouble connecting to most websites saying that website might have moved.

I hav... moreI found a solution. Not the prettiest setup but works.
I bought a wireless transceiver a ZF-360A 3in1 5.0 from Amazon, plugged the 3.5 mm cable into my tablet and it paired with my Bose soundeck which has a Dock Pro Bluetooth receiver. I now need to get a electrical charger with 2 USB outlets to keep my tablet and the new transceiver running.
Every once in awhile I find these Bose and Klipsch speakers that used to be used for ipods at Goodwills and thrift shops. I have both and the sound out of them are great. Hope this helps someone. Take care.

Has anyone used their gt p5210 for a music library.
I have a Bose Sounddeck that I can use with my phone just fine. But I want to use my tablet instead and just leave it on. The problem I have is the original Bluetooth on the tablet is not finding any devices. I'm hoping it can work either thru a device or a possible upgrade.

I still use it on modded kernel and rom....works great with a 1g boost for various things. But i can play 720p just fine. Definitely nothing higher but if you have issues with 480p...youve got something else going on, maybe low mem.

I would not recommend opening more then 2 tabs in Chrome also it lags on freaking 480p in youtube 3/10 not a great tablet other then watching YouTube in 240p

My father use it well it is bit slow but doesn't matter it will last couple of years more
