It applies both to Samsung a... moreit is running exynos.. cant expect much though. the factor is the gpu. they put mali g68 which is being used on midrange smartphones. its just too powerful for a smartwatch, few sensors are always active. hence drains battery life. i hope samsung would improve this

Is it worth to buy Galaxy Watch 6 if you are using Huawei Watch GT 2 pro? I know battery can't be compared between the two but does Galaxy Watch 6 better on health measures?

Android Dude, 20 Aug 2023I have a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and I am not convinced Watc... moreMy Watch5 is better than my Watch4. And my Watch6 is better than my Watch5. I could not go back to my Watch4 again.
For me, I have no need for a watch to last seven days. I can get 1.5 to three days charge from my Watch5 and Watch6. And I typically charge them every day or two.
I am resetting my Watch4 today to send it in for the trade. Samsung gave me $100 trade for it when I got my Watch6.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and I am not convinced Watch 6 is better until they release one that will hold a single charge for over 7 days like old Huawei GT2 Pro. Besides they look the same. Holding on to my Watch 4.

Yes. I've noticed I am getting a little more uptime from my GW6 than I was getting with my GW5. And they both last much, much longer than my GW4.

It last more than a day with everything on except LTE, because I've no plan yet. The change is worth it, you've get a huge amazing screen, style, and some hardware update. It's important to notice that GW works really great with Samsung ecosystem. This is my first smartwatch, and I love it.

Although i will admit I need to charge it daily. It pairs very well and has more features since I upgraded my phone too.

I wore watches daily, between 1970 and 2001. But then I stopped wearing them for around twenty years. Until I got a refurbished Galaxy Watch Active. And really loved it. And then a new Galaxy Watch4, Watch5, and now Watch6.
So I upgrade every year now. Trading in my oldest of the two watches I use.

I'm contemplating to get one for myself. But very concern on how long the battery can last when GPS is on as I be using it on trail running. Anyone with the watch can share some their experience? Would prefer to get a smart watch than sports watches to keep things simple.

I ordered a Watch6 44mm yesterday. For only $150 after trade in of my Watch4, some Samsung reward credits, and cash back, it's not a bad deal.
Then my Watch5 will become my daily watch. And I will only wear my Watch6 and night and on the weekends. Then next year I will trade in my Watch5 for a Watch7.

I have said it time and again. It applies both to Samsung and Apple. Considering the high prices of the smart watches, the battery life is just underwhelming and because of that it is not worth spending so much. How come that other smart watch manufacturers can offer better battery life? It shows that it is possible. It must be a marketing decision.
