u cant compare optimus to galaxy y .. a person buys galaxy due to price range.And y to forget micromax...
Would u like to say I have micromax
Or say boldy I have samsung galaxy..?

who says screen quality is so poor come in front..!
i only says its quite good.
thats why no cmnt for its display especialy for those micromax sales man who were present here..!

Best phone in this price, high speed internet, can watch movie using mobo player, play games like angry birds, drag racing, inotia, trial xtreme HD

though this phone is running gingerbread firmware.
internal memory and ram is not that to compete with today's third party applications.
but its processor is good enough to handle ram pressure.
this device is not that best for playing games because of low resolution.
i will advice you to take your decision yourself.

I bought it before last month. Galaxy y rocks with wifi and 3g. Really android touch is good experience. But only main problem is its battery backup.. which is works only 3 hours continues internet use ( by fully charged). And also sometimes automatically hangs. And camera clearity not good to compare sony.!.
Really battery problem is baaaaaaad. So i keep plug it in wall. Ha ha..

its really nice phone... if u wishing to take smartphone with less price its very good option for u... i will give 9 out 10 to this phone. i brought this.

Anyone tried The Sims 3 on this phone. It seems that there's no GPU on it. Which can run 3D games more smoothly.

its an amazin phne in low price. internet is also fast in 2G. am satisfied. nice touch also

Samsung cud hv wrkd upon d inbuilt memory of this phone : reason been Internal memory nd d processor is co-related nd also sometime leads to freezing .

the phone is now rooted
all games playable now.....

1)download update.zip and copy to sdcard
2)switch off phone wait till vibration
3)long press volume up button + home + then power
on button you will enter in recovery mode
4)use up and down button to navigate and home key for selection
5) select apply update from sdcard and wait untill phone reboots...
6) after you see home screen after boot wait untill sdcard completes its scan
and go to menu and if you see superuser app your phone is rooted whola!!!!!......
7) if u still have doubt if phone is roote or not then download root check.apk(http://www.mediafire.com/?jj8sx4ojvq9i198) and install,open it and press verify access
all done if u rooted ur phone reply here and i ill tell how to install games.....
