This is probably one of the best phones I have ever had.
I know it's a bit old looking but overall performance is amazing. It does the job, fell a dozen times and never broke. The operating system is very user friendly even for an old-timer like me. I used the same phone for 4 years until my daughter played with it a bit too roughly. I used it mainly for work as a mortgage consultant in Israel.
If I could find this mobile again I would definitely buy it again, now I moved to a new Samsung Galaxy A30s and simply cannot get used to the size and not having pressable buttons. BUT nonetheless, Samsung is Samsung and their mobile phones are great.

Mine is 4 years old, and the best phone for me! It only be sad to don't record video atleast at VGA or HD. It only do video at 320p. But thats ok. It's sad that samsung don't do a refresh of this phone with proper camera, wifi, bigger screen, but maintening the keypad. I guess the segment of keypad phones it's all the same, I'have been 4 year long to find this phone

I had two of these phones. They didn't last long, but they were probably the best phones I ever had. If Vodafone New Zealand ever start selling them again I will go and buy several of them in a a heartbeat.

Just a suggestion.

A blackberry Bold with its 3.2 megapixel camera produces 2.1mb sized photos.
The s5611 with its " 5.0 " megapixel camera produces 600kb sized photos.
The idiots at samsung made is so that every photo taken is applied to a jpeg compressor with Ultra Low setting, the results are inferior photographs
The buttons on the phone are also impossible to use when writing a text, neighboring keys are too easy to press accidentally because each row share the same plastic strip.
Ironically, the S5611 fails in both the departments that prompted me to get it in the first place.
I just wanted a non touch screen / button phone with a 5.0megapixel camera. Was it so hard samsung?
