My 5G Aquos Sense phone only gets 4G and it becomes hot and unusable. Camera shuts down and I get cut off after 10 minutes talking. I tried to contact Sharp but still waits to see if they care.

To update this phone OS, you need to have Japan IP (which can be done with a VPN)
The upgrade is from: android 11 -> android 12 -> android 13

I own this phone since past couple of days, a bit slow for day to day usage, excellent battery and good build quality. It has all basic features but the software update is to be obtained manually via VPN and it's sometimes a pain! My device is running Android 12 with November 2022 security patch. For this price this compact device is better than Sonys and other cheap Chinese devices.
