I like how all of the phones in the ads after the article are more expensive than the iPhone 15 Pro Max, making it look cheap compared to them. LOL, we're in a very different world now.

The foldable design is revolutionary. Unfolding the 7.6-inch AMOLED display feels like opening a book to a whole new world. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and the slim profile when folded makes it surprisingly pocket-friendly.
It is packed with cutting-edge hardware, the Galaxy Fold 5 delivers powerhouse performance. From demanding apps to intensive gaming, it handles everything with remarkable speed and efficiency. The multitasking capabilities are amazing.

BMHater12, 13 Dec 2023Ah, that sucks, but at least you're enjoying the Fold 5 At the moment, yes I am enjoying it alot. During normal office days I dont even use cameras, they are only required on my road trips. Luckily my wife has S22 Ultra so will use that for the purpose.

BMHater12, 12 Dec 2023Why not use the 13 Pro as your main camera phone? Cant carry 2 heavy phone together, both are bricks in terms of weight. So had to let go 13 pro but I still miss its amazing camera capabilities. May be fold 7 might have a beefy camera setup, just hoping to get the best of both worlds.

I would rather have a wider other display with a squarish inner display as anyway everything has be to be stretched out to fit the inner display.

At first I thought the narrow outer display with the awesome 5:6 aspect of the inner screen will be awesome, but after some time, I really would like a wider, more normal cover display, even if that means a squared inner display. Some games suck on the inner screen and you can't play anything on the tall narrow outer display, so my next foldable will definitely be more like the OnePlus Open

But still 95% time is being spent on the outer screen.

Got this phone last night and I think I made a mistake. It is not at all good for media consumption, out screen is too narrow and inner display has big bold borders while playing video making it the same normal bar size phone screen. Apart from this the screen crease is too anoying and as I understand it will grow deeper with time. All in all a too hyped product with less to no practical usage for general audience, cant say about power users but for generic people there are way too many sacrifices here. Cameras are total shit compared to my privious Mi 13Pro.

In actuality almost every phone can do that now, I have a Huawei from 6 years ago that can do that, but I wouldn't call it real multitasking because music apps and videos with pop up windows are normal on every phone. The fact that I can do all you said while also having 2 apps open side by side and also drag and drop files from one to another and an always present taskbar at the bottom, that's what I call multitasking. And on top of all that you have dex which I use surprisingly often and every time I do it people are amazed that a phone can do that much, it's really like a laptop

I've been with the Samsung Z Fold 5 since day one, and while the foldable design is still a showstopper, the battery performance has left me a bit disappointed. Compared to its predecessor, the Fold 4, the battery drains noticeably faster, struggling to keep up with a full day of use.

My girlfriend shares the same sentiment; her Z Fold 5 faces similar battery challenges. It's a letdown considering the advancements we expected. As for the camera, it's a mixed bag. Daylight shots impress, but once the sun sets, the camera stumbles. Nighttime pictures and videos turn grainy, making the camera less reliable after dark.
