I bought a Seimens S40 cell and after charging it, i used it for few minutes and the phone went off.The cell doesnt come on again even with a new battery.
Pls what cou;d be the problem?

my phone does not have sms inbox and outbox,meaning it does not receive or send sms.and why is it that it does not have game.

Thanks Dia, I had a problem with receiving sms's and after resetting it works again!
I was already making plans to buy a new one, you saved me some cash...

Just in case any one has any funky problems with the S40, take out the sim card, turn it on, punch in *#337#. This is the reset code. It really helped me out. Now my phone is back to normal.

i have the s40 phone,its cute and i love it but the problem is that it hangs or frezees from time to time, the sms service does disappear,i have had it now for 7months,and am begining to think that i got a raw deal, is there a way i can upgrade my phone so as to stop it from malfunctioning

My S40 just started malfunctioning and I love this phone. The prob. is that I will not be able to receive calls if I press the (middle)scroll button on top right after the phone is turned on. Does anybody know how to find out what FW version I have in the phone and if there is any way I can upgrade the FW or if I could fix it myself. Thank you.

Hello! The phone is very nice, I kind of love it!! My s40 does not hang or freeze(only one time...), sms works fine, but battery maximum 3 days in standby...
Can anybody tell me how i can upgrade my software?? And how can I find out what version do I have??

my english is bad.But i will try explane,s40 with software version 8.0.0 is shit,but s40 with 9.0.0 is realy quality siemens products.for information +359 888 828989
