I have never been a big fun of Sony Ericsson and have always owned Nokias but i believe these guys have a brighter future than Nokia. I love their balance on usability and nerd requirements. Whilst Nokia has literally forgotten the fact that the gadgets need to get smaller every year SE is proving to be a big winner despite their losses the past 2 years. More functionality in a Smaller package...thats how its meant to be done. Tell it to Nokia! More fuctionality in a massive brick does not amaze anyone because its just like carrying a laptop or a UMPC...they have been there many years!! N900 - Excellent package with perharps a better OS compared to Android and WiMo let down by the size. SE X10 - Cute device that out performs the N900 in almost all areas except the OS and the lack of Keyboard. Well done!

I am very sorry SE started fine with the W960, but now, they can't even announce an 8Gb internal memory phone? This is not acceptable in these days. The 1GB internal memory is good, but not enough for next year. Sorry, this is what I see, and I said this truly, I don't want to be impolite with anyone. I am a SE now, MWC will tell me to decide...

16k is weak, right ? but look at all HTC android phone also use 16 k colors, yes maybe this phone has a weakness but every phone has weakness.
but this phone also has advantage look at
- 8MP camera
- HSPA 10MBps
- a camera call (it is a important thing)
- 1500 Mah "LI POLIMER"
- 1 GHZ
- 256MB RAM
- a flash
and dont forget this spec is from 1st whitepaper, it is not final.SE will increase and add many features on this phone.
16k color is not problem for me coz my eyes cant detect colors as much as 16m colors
if you are a SAMSUNG FAN, tell me which samsung android phone can beat this phone ? dont forget, X10 is the first android phone too so how can you say this phone is bad ? reply me ASAP
Pls compare this phone with your samsung android phone.1st android phone VERSUS 1st SE android phone = samsung android phone is outdate!!!
For me, X10 is the best SE android phone right now and it is the first SE android phone and wait for 2nd android phone of SE.

So, MWC is the turning point for me, and not for only me, there is a guy, he said the same thing. Last year SE announced a great phone(X1), was great, but was made by others(I can't write the name here), and I don't like if others will make a phone that I like. After this, the X2 was made by SE, but the internal memory isn't enough , 110MB. I thought will be at least an 512MB, or more.

So I take it from the spec it won't support 3G in Canada? It only list the 3G band as 900/1900/2100 and 900/1700/2100, while as far as I can tell (also from the info on this site) Canadian 3G use 850 almost exclusively with 1900 as "backup".
What a pity :(

I really liked this phone, I have HTC touch pro2, and I really want to get this device.
The good thing is that is called X10 and will be released in 2010.

I was really scared about having only 16k we would be a real joke. But thank god its 262k. It would be better of it had 16m colors. but still 262k are not bad. For example, the new HTC HD, which has a 4.3 inch screen has only 65k! So, why are you guys complaing about 262k. Please be logical.

The internal memory comes down to 1 from 32gb,the screen is not oled-although lcd is good for daylight perfomance,and android 1.6 instead of 2, and no dedicated graphics so much for rumoures,that why they are called rumoures.good phone but all those rumoures makes you feel some what disappointed.
