I played around with both Phones (mini and mini pro) at the WMC in Barcelona 15-19:th feb 2010
They are both great phones - and super smooth in the GUI and screen. I will for sure get the Mini pro.
These phones will put SE on the map again.

This and the X10 mini will do very well. It's a small device that will come in multiple colors. You only need your thumb to operate it and if you want to do more, the keyboard will help you bang out texts and will only improve functionality. It will do well with teens (if their parents will spring for the data plan), young adults, and women looking to get a smartphone but don't have an iPhone.

For example, a resolution of 2048x1536 (approx 3MP) is more than enough to record full HD, and is a far bigger resolution for most people's computer desktop. You are one of the many who have been sucked in to believe that the higher the res, the better. That is not true. People seem to be so transfixed on the MP race that they are now ignorant on the fact that... higher resolutions are useless for the mainstream end-user. For high-end photographers and video encoders (that's me there), we have dedicated DSLRs with 20MP and so forth, but stuffing that much into a phone (which doesn't even have optical zoom) is useless, and just increases the price.
Basically, manufacturers want you to believe that a higher MP count is better. It is not, and I say that those ignorant to believe the manufacturers (who only stand to make profits mind you) should just buy the latest and greatest; such new devices will always suffer 'teethinh' bugs, and alas, the complaints we get from those people...
Though on the subject of the perfect phone; this comes close.
What I'd like is a 5MP AF cam module (and yeah, I'm into pro-photography), 64GB NAND flash module (Toshiba is mass-producing them this year), WALKMAN app, Cybershot cam GUI...

with a perfect spec. people will have to pay the perfect price. every new phone with few new features already cost around 1000 usd and now you want to get all-in-one it won't be marketable b.c manufacturing cost is so high and it will take some time for the cost to drop. the company will get a huge expense for making this kind of phone with high risk of not able to sell I think this answer your question

y dont sonny Ericsson just mak an ultimate phone that has all d functions. 30gigabyte internal memory, with 8gb mem card, 12mg pixel camera, God type music player and a very powerfull document reader. with good game infrared and radio e.t.c. am using i-phone and d ericsson satio iduo. bt of all ericsson phone, iduo is d far best and i dont see any thing new in dis 2010 ericsson dat iduo cannot do better with a 12mp camera.

I like the design!
Think if u will type messages with it it will be a nice telephone but the screen is very small..
And if u look at the X2, i dont understand why SE makes a new phone with such a good system (android) but with only a 5mp camera in stead of 8,1 (SE X2).
