Top 5 battery life I've seen
Smooth screen with no hole is always welcome
USB type-c 3.2
Side mounted fingerprint(i just like the position it's comfortable for me it might not be for everyone)
Best design for a phone in 2024 at least
Bad stuff:
SD8gen3 is HOT af........... And this phone throttles like all other 8gen3 phones except ROG 8
Camera processing ia too raw... Again.....the lens will work like an absolute miracle if you fiddle with the settings but for a quick picture the ui and process is still too raw and shallow(above average but this is a 1300$ or more)
Availability and price are......... Yeah 💀
Conclusion =idk....... If it didn't throttle i would say it's a solid buy for 4 years before my next purchase but i game a lot..... So not for me........ Actually.... None of 2024 phones are for me........ 8gen3 is hot garbage.... Thanks Samsung

Why you all are telling like, the most possible high-end features in these days are to be packed in one so-called flagship phone from a well-known brand and you want that particular phone for like $500-800? Why are you complaining for the price? Pls make sense dudes :3.

This mobile phone with these specifications and high price and the fact that it was introduced very late has no advantage over its competitors, but it is even less! It seems out of competition with other brands.

I don't understand why people want Sony to stop making phones. Sony has interests in far more than phones. They've been making them for a while even though they haven't been selling much. I am not an investor so I have no personal interest and I'm not particularly enamored of corporations. With regard to Sony, I remember this:

Honestly, my only real complaints about their phones are prices and the lack of availability. It now looks like this one might not be available in the U.S., although I have yet to read any confirmation of this. The prices certainly are exorbitant. I don't see why it matters if they continue to manufacture phones other than environmental destruction but considering the amount they make compared to others and that their phone tend to last longer, that's not even a major issue with them. I've read comments on these android forums from people complaining that Sony phones still have expandable memory and headphone jacks. Why would you want features removed? I just don't get it. As for LG, they had features that new phones still don't have and they were reasonably priced. However, what they did with the batteries is shameful. They used a glue that makes it next to impossible to remove the batteries without rush of physical harm. Maybe Fairphone will catch on and become available in more countries. User replaceable batteries should be required by law.

Not only they have multiple big disadvantages compared to other flagships, now they do not even have any significant advantages over others, Samsung is apparently starting to step this way, too, bravo, Sony!

Spec yappers don't understand what makes a good phone. I'd take this over S24 ultra or 15 pro max any day of the week.

Anonymous, 16 May 2024 the mark 1 series usually has a 4k screen, so im guessing ... morenvm, apparently they just stopped putting 4k screens on phones. so expect the 5 VI to be powered by either a Snapdragon 7/7+ Gen 3 this year.

Not seeing why this is better than Honor Magic6 Pro. Sure the front facing speakers, notchless display and great zoom camera speaks for them selves but other than those not seeing this worth almost 1400€
