I got a question... bought this phone the moment it came to Malaysia but the phone still havent arrived yet. i got a question about the back up of the contacts. i got like 500 contacts and i hate to retype them everytime u bought a new phone because there is no card slot in xpria s. so how do i do backup ? besides saving in SIM.

Hey just got this phone 3 days ago. So far im loving it. So So So much better thab my old Vivaz, which was a piece of rubbish anyay. Hated that phone.
Software is bang on, fast with no lags or bugs. I havent used the phone entirely yet but so far it is very responsive and I still have 11 days to test it before returning it.

Does it have normal flash when taking photos or like Vivaz you have to turn manually the led on ? Or the led is just for video light ? I don't understand the Sony policy in case of low-light flash photo...

Does dis phone has da XMOR technology like arcS?
My second question 2 al da Xperia S users is..
"can dis phone withstand 3 hrs of browsing,half an hr of music play and games on just one charge?
N lastly..Wat about da camera quality?iread rumours dat da pics r somewhat yellowish..is dat true?

[deleted post]Everything is pointing to a very solid device from Sony. They have quite a high standard of quality control, which is also why they tend not to go overboard with tech specs, as they prefer phones that are reliable, similar to Apple's approach.
I would quite confidently recommend this phone for you to buy. Otherwise wait for more reviews to come out.

Samsung fans butthurt to find out that the world is as not as gullible as they think, and that strong fans of Sony stand behind quality products.
Nokia, Sony have all come out with new waves of innovative products. How about Samsung? Since being banned from copying, all they can do is add quadcore this, megabyte that, megahertz this. Totally void of ideas.

I have read that this phone is easily scratched, which seems to me that this was given a very thin paint job. I would love to buy this phone but these reviews keep me from doing so. What is the experience of owners here?
