I still use this phone, and I even have two of them. The size is the most convenient and the display though small has great contrast of colors. It's a very good phone and it holds up to most of the newer ones.
In all this time I've only found that the camera is (was, at the time) really good and video recording looks very sharp, with the only downside that it heats up the phone very quickly, so using the camera continuously for more than 5 minutes is not possible.
Also another downside has to do with the manufacturing. As long as it remains unopened, the X Compact has no issues at all, but repairing it or refurbishing it without the utmost care can leave easily something off with some faulty connections... I've found so far it happens often with the charging port and the SIM card slot. It needs to be opened, and reconnected, that everything seats tightly again, so it starts working again; so it's a little fragile but easy to repair.
I think the 32gb internal storage is not really an issue since everything can be stored in the microsd, something some other devices lack lately.
By the way, it does run Genshin and other games in low res with no lag.

One of the best phone I've ever used it worth even in 2022. The only drawback is the GPS accuracy is not good. Other than that it is a best handy phone. Even some people ask me that 'what phone is it'...

I've bought the compact Sony xperia since their first launch. It's the size and reliability of the unit I like the cameras good but for me it's the 4.7 size fits perfect in your Jean pocket and handles anything a new mid level 5.5 phone can do so why carry something uncomfortable when you can have compact ability.
