Hello my Mates from SONY Fanclub
Here I am eagerly waiting for this Ornament (SXZ) to launch in India. I am already a SONY user and I know the brand value added to its performance. I was very confused from a few days so as to buy which handset this April. I had a few choices like Lumia 920 from Nokia, or Sammy's N2 then I had minute consideration for Sammy's new plastic piece coming its SGS4 but all these were only till I saw the advertisement of SEZ all over the internet and I will wait for whatever time it takes to come to India no worries but I will. My first impression was WOW WHAT A HANDSET. The look in this handset is the most premium look which I want. I always thought I should be owning a mobile to which anyone sees should think WOW and this is the one. The premium finish it has to the looks of SXZ is just worthy for what it is pricing itself. The specifications are undoubtedly the best of all SONY features. Water & Dust resistant that's a major add on. Being so sophisticated in looks it is rugged too that excites me more.
Now only one question I have in mind WHEN WILL YOU COME INDIA BABY?????? Now after looking at SEZ I started believing LOVE AT 1ST SIGHT.

Anon, 06 Feb 2013Octacore is not true Octacore as the smaller 4 cores are fo... moreMan chill I only did say is more advance and btw that true 4 core only wil be used but the 4 core is a15 archtecture and the other I thnk its a9 or a7 archtecture. And the real competitor in generation of octacore is qualcomm 400 and above series. Not a 2012 version.

Grimlock, and have read your bad comments about xperia z, we do not need more of his comments. We know that xperia z, is an excellent smartphone, the best we can find today. In the future other phones arrive at conpetir with xperia z, and see if their new designs or specifications will be as appreciated as are today's Xperia Z. Which features of the Xperia Z??

And what risk has Sony taken? Just look back to last year and take notice how many flag ship phones they've released in a very, very short period of time, it's ridiculous.

core, 05 Feb 2013for samsung quadcore means dual core and octacore means qua... moreThe octocore in the up coming Galaxy S4 and Note 3, is actually a quad core processor and not a true octocore.
The only difference is that that use 4 larger cores for heavy processing while the smaller cores are for lighter processing. It's all about saving batter so you will have to charge less.
I like to see that some companies are at least trying to develop new and innovative ways to increase battery life. Someone has to lead the way, right?

This is a nice looking phone, but its lacking actual new features
5-inch 1080p is standard for 2013 and they already did water proof last year so nothing new really.

sony needs to release a 32gb internal memory version, 16gb is just too small since i like to download games especially HD games and apps, and 16gb or should i say 13gb is not enough... its annoying to keep uninstalling apps/games because of not enough memory.

Why i am NOT waiting for Galaxy S4? I hate it already, just like i hate my Note 2. Sure Note 2 is a good phone, until you try to connect it to a PC. This is an old problem with Samsung, Kies dont work on lots of PC, and S2 and up has been troublesome in connecting as mass storage to Windows XP and Linux PCs, but at least it used to be possible. Now with Note 2 and the other new ones its almost impossible, you need a Win7 PC, now Linux and WinXP is usually a no go. This is unacceptable, it puts Samsung on the level of iphone with its itunes dependency.
I am from now on officialy against all samsung products, it does not work on my laptops, just like iphone with itunes will not work on my Debian Linux laptops. Content upload is a NO GO on Samsung. Xperia phones connects directly to any kind of Windows and Linux, and Sony PC Companion works on windows Xp.
A big win for sony.
What good is Galaxy S4 if it will not connect to my computers? Yep, its wortless. And i have this distgusting Note 2 to destroy my life here, a Linux user since 2004 and suddenly i have a phone that is incompatible with it? Worse than iphone.

Good phone, BUT, they've missed the boat by increasing the resolution by 50% but only increasing the screen size by a very small amount. 5" screen with 1080p resolution is utter nonsense, just doesn't make sense. I would have chosen this phone had it been a minmum 5.5" and ideally 6"+ especially at full hd. I may wait for the sony togari which will be 6.44" in size but if it is not released for the UK, I will take the Huawei Ascend Mate which is a 6.1" screen with 720p resolution. Let's hope Sony do not let me down.
