I don't care about looks (Even though the Note 2 looks freaking beautiful!), What features does it have that the note 2 and S3 don't? What will it have that the S4 and Note 3 won't? Think about it! Looks alone don't make a smart phone.

rj23, 01 Feb 2013My answer to your statement about Sony not being that expen... moreWhy are you comparing the xperia Z to the S3 and Note 2? Those phones have been out for a while now. And have already enjoyed large sells numbers and counting!
The Xperia Z, on the other hand, will be faced wit competition from the likes of the S4 and Note 3. Which will most likely push the envelope on tech once more. Becoming the two devices all others are compared to.
If you really think about it, what innovations has Sony brought with the Z? Nothing really. They are more focused on camera and sleek features. But they present nothing new. And that is why I believe that Sony are in such a bad situation. From releasing over priced devices with nothing new or innovative.
As it stands, Samsung and Apple are leading the smart phone market when it comes to innovation. And everyone knows this. Sony is just playing a game of "Me too". They don't have any real substance.

This phone beats the Note and Note II easily, I mean look at the design. It's just amazingly good looking, compact for a 5 incher, and it's waterproof. Full HD screen and all what you need. The Galaxy line is just so ugly and all the same, this phone just looks good. I won't buy this phone as it's too big for me, but I like the phone's design so much.

Decisions decisions... moreS4 will be more ugly, have a crappy screen most likely and feature a exynos to do well in synthetic benchmarks which is all the reveiwers and sammy care about.
In the real (app) world, the exynos will be as lousy supported by sammy as it's predecessors.
The qualcomm quad krait and it's Adreno 320 companion are sure winners. Very popular in many phones, great support in apps to come.

Yes we do click it many times and yes it does matter how it is designed/shaped. What they forgot is that it also matters where it is placed - in an ergonomical sense - not just to make it look cool.

"The combination of all those things: the physical screen, the manufacturing of the screen, the no air gap, the colour filter, the mobile BRAVIA engine, together should give the consumer something that is a really good representation of real life."
