Agreed,its screen will have much better viewing angles,deepest blacks and more vivid colors.I don't give a damn about brightness,I use my phone on lowest brightness possible most of the time anyways to avoid battery drain.

I have note 2 and it's the best amoled display, cleared and brighter than S3 but still in many movies i need the brightness at maximum to get good detail. My old xperia pro was much better at details in dark scenes. Amoled has good contrast between dark and bright but very poor contrast between dark and darker colors. Note 1 was even worse as it had no Grey tones at all. Samsung amoled displays do not display 16M colors, fake specs!

Mark, 29 Jan 2013As usual with SONY - you get low-quality LCD panel (extreme... moreagain we see sammy fanboys entering the debate. no one forces you to buy a phone with bad viewing angles and washed out colors (as you claim). you can go and stick to your AMOLEDs with their over saturated colors.
regarding the gorilla glass, you must know that Sony is using dragon trail glass which is 6 times harder than gorilla glass. both front and back of this phone is covered with this glass. even you can find the video of its durability on youtube.

As usual with SONY - you get low-quality LCD panel (extremely poor viewing angles) with non-Gorilla glass.
And protective layer applied - why? Because the glass is so weak?

With this kind of specifications,sony experia Z is sure to rule the market..but the question is doesn't it sound too techy..? filled with more things than one human can possibly handle..i dnt think our consumer is looking for this kind of ultra-specs with the 5inch lap with a high prize point..
