In malaysia, we was waiting xperia TX and V release upon the 2012 flagships announced. But upon TX arriving to malayisa, Z was released this year CES and V dunno when coming out... Sony why you cant make immediate availability on our store?

im debating over the xperia Z and the iphone 5,and im really confused. the xperia z is coming out in 2 weeks here and im planing on buying either one......this is going to be my 1st smartphone so i have no idea about android and iOS and their problems.....can anyone please help....

Every month new phones are coming with more nice features & every one is moving from old to new one so why we going to care about water/dust proofing ? its only good for those who's going to use there phone for at least 4/5 years & that's also in case if u drop ur device in water so if u really take good care of device then i think its a unneeded features which only increases the cost of mobile.
We need future proof phone & i think S4 looks promising to me. Ya if S4 fail then i think Sony Z is my next choice for sure.

But seriously I really want to laugh on those fools who are comparing announced Sony Z with Upcoming Samsung S4 as well with old S3 & I think its a Samsung victory.
Right now Sony Z is the best smartphone specially with Design & water/dust proof feature but other brand devices are yet to come so stop comparing Z with other upcoming devices.
about interest just search over net & u will find lots of articles on S4 even if its in shadow so I am pretty sure that Samsung is going to rock with S4 coz Design or water/dust proofing is not as good in front of software features & performance.

Now, thats HTC for you, there are good reasons why HTC has lost so much market share, it has nothing to do with marketing or anything like that, it is because of the bad reputation they have built up, and what a very well deserved bad reputation that is.
Never again HTC for me, hope they go out of business soon, worst i ever had by a huge margin.

I hope Sony will do well to make the phone available in March. If not, the new Samsung Galaxy 4 that will debut in March, will take the shine of the Xperia Z.

[deleted post]with the downfall of brands like nokia and iphone lately, we can say that Sony is the only brand who can stop Sammy's progress. they are trying to stop s3 and s4 with Z and ZL and they have some plans to stop note series. we will hear more from Sony at IFA.

xperia, 28 Jan 2013Very well said bro...If you look closely if xperia z will be succesful it may enough to compete with s4 or the new iphone. Just like iphone vs samsung history their will be no galaxy s3 if its not because of s2. It had gave momentum to give the consumers, us the anticipation to buy the s3. Eventhough s3 was a good phone but the market anticipation is one of the factors that samsung is sucesful today

For iPhone and Samsung fan out there, compare the technologies that Sony have built within there last couples series there is no company out there that beat SONY XPERIA series camera and live quality that we are foward in the furture. I LOVE Sony phone I have XPERIa arc s, xperia S, and Sl. I LOVE the design and the quality of it. I think XPERIA Z will really awesome, and hoping to get it this March..

xperia, 28 Jan 2013Very well said bro...Disagree. People are sick and tired of Samsung and looking for a way out, Xperia Z is that way out. Look at the daily interest, Z is still on top, even newspapers have jumped on the hype and writing articles about Xperia Z, its already a classic, its what everyone is talking about, not only the enthusiasts.
They dont need to promote this device much, its practically marketing itself. Sure lots of people will continue to buy Samsung, the momentum they have built up makes them impossible to slow down in a short time. We will see it Samsunsg slowdown as a trend in 6 months from now, and it will take a year before the trend is clear enough to be accepted by everyone. Cant expect Xperia Z alone to slow down Samsung, but it is the one that will start the job, and then its up to Sony to keep great phones coming to finish what the Z started.
Im one of those waiting for a way out, when i bought Note 2 some 4 months ago there were no alternatives, this time there is, Note 2 is no longer competing with useless crap as One X/X+ with their lagging nvidia chipsets, its like the 5th core is the only core most of the time, making Galaxy Pocket perform better in webbrowsing.
