So you’re paying this heck of a price for an A16 bionic chip.
I would’ve liked this strategy: For vanilla series, A(x) chip, for Pro series, A(x) Pro chip. But who knows, maybe they’ll do that in iPhone 16 series?

Also, regarding the 60hz display. iOS is not android and it’s much smoother. I have an iPad with 60hz display and it didn’t feel sluggish. Apple also guesses that gamers will buy the Pro series if they wanted to game, so this is stuck at 60hz. Would’ve liked at least 90hz though

    Your literally getting last year's 14pro camera and a software feature..that. is. It.
    Why on earth would anyone consider the 15 over the 14 pro is beyond me..
    Well played apple, guess they're the richest company in the world for a reason.

      i just got the first copy from the officiel store and it didn't start(turn on) i was lucky enough i tried that in front of the seller and they gave me another one in less than 30 minutes

            GeeX, 13 Sep 2023Apple still thinks 120 refresh rate is a premium feature..Its not like that, Apple will only provide 120 hz with LTPO display which have supply constraint to be available for all non pro iphones, as only LG and samsung producing this display, by 2025, chinese company BOE will be able to fullfill LTPO display demands for non pro iphones so will be included in iphone 17 non pro.

                I like that it’s not heavier but even 1g lighter despite being bigger. However, I still feel this size is slightly too big and 5.8 inch would be better.

                      it looks great, finaly we have a cutout instead of a notch on a base model, as well as a frosted back. if the price isn't too inflated (which im sure it'll be) i may consider consider buying one

                                  Ah yes, I'm very sure the 2024 SE is going to be more like "For The Fanboys iPhones".

                                  All they have to do, is saying "A brand new iPhone for less than 499$". That even if it come out at that price range.

                                  Also that 128GB of base storage is bottle neck nowadays. Let alone in the next 2-4 years remembering how long the software update will be. Wonder how much storage the 2024 SE will start.

                                      Common misconception that apple users just buy the phone based on the specs. 60 Hz vs 120 Hz - really... like the average user would even know the difference. The phones work well in their intended ecosystem, by users who are willing to pay a premium for a product that they enjoy using. Seamless integration between various Apple devices and IOS that has a familiar vibe through all releases gives consistency for the user. Not everyone requires a knee jerk reaction to follow trends that are not necessarily proven and a slower uptake on the technologies that do make a difference ensures longevity of the product. The build quality provides a phone that lasts long enough to make the investment worthwhile and still have device that can be traded in when a new product is purchased. Price vs experience... you remember if something was good or bad not cheap or expensive.

                                        799 usd , no fast charging, 60hz display, probably 3000mah *
                                        not worth it IMO
